Looks-wise, I thought he looked pretty good. Its not easy for a bbuilder to look good in a suit but I think he pulled it off.

In terms of what "style" of MC is best suited for the sport, I think there is no clear answer to that - its something that is evolving over time.

I'm surprised that since he appears in films and M.C.s shows, he deoesn't get down to a really lean look. His face would be leaner..thus making him look better..he'd look better in clothes. He's got all the goods, just should get leaner in my opinion. Maybe he could be a bit more charismatic and exciting. All these things might help his acting career as well.....so he could have more than just walk-on parts.

Imo Chick is not a natural at mcing. He has had time to become better at it but time has not helped. I really am confused as to why those in charge allow him to participate. The O is the superbowl of bodybuilding and I would think those in charge would want a highly effective outcome of the event. If the mc is off it will effect the whole show. I don't want to bash Chick I just think he should apply himself in other areas of the business rather then mcing. Chick's humor is very dry, he could not get the audience to participate and he obviously did not take the time to go over the nights programming because he needed a schedule in front of him at all times. He did seem to catch on regarding his apparel. What he wore was much more tasteful then in years past.

This is a good observation. When you listen to him on PBW, he sounds like he just likes to hear himself speak and say what he thinks are cool things but a good MC can work the crowd and is IN TUNE with the crowd. Chick sounds like he is more into himself - which is fine but I don't think it makes for a good MC.

As for Dan.... I just wish he would stop making every word sound like the most important word in the universe. Just speak normally!
