It was very "hip" in the daytime, and downright scary at night.  Golds was an ego trip plastic people conference at its highest.  Gary Strydom is an asshole. Strangely the nicest guy to me was Titus, took us for lunch and drove us around in his BMW. Let me train with him for a week. The Marina Pacific was actually a decent place to stay. The boardwalk was a freak fest.
