Just watched speak no evil. Now that's a real film,  solid performances all round, you care for the family, doesnt need constant kills and gore to keep attention. The end is a real gut punch, better than hollywood shit today.

Great movie! All of Lars von Trier's movies are great. Dancer In The Dark is the only musical I have ever enjoyed. Dogville is the only stage film I have ever enjoyed.

I'm not a fan of the horror genre, but I saw The Menu yesterday. I really liked it. It's silly, but it's original. It's billed as a black comedy/horror, though it's not really your classic horror-type. It's amusing and entertaining, though. A lot of people describe Anya Taylor-Joy as a hammerhead shark, but I think she's hot and a good actress, so that helps.

The atmosphere in the cinema amused me when it ended. Everyone was quite subdued. My girlfriend just laughed in disbelief and said 'what the fuck was that', lol. Definitely a unique film.
