Impressions of how it felt?

The last circuit was a bitch.  I think it would be MUCH harder doing a full sprint on real ground, and adding in all the other stuff like burpees would make it tenfold.

I think I may have benefitted by using less weight and upping the reps to 20.  That way, I wouldn't be sore and could do it more frequently.

The front squats before didn't help either.......

Either way, I was sweating profously.

I think I will work out in this fashion for the near future - one exercise of the basics for strength, but mostly conditioning/fast twitch type stuff for the rest.

How is the leg bicep coming along some slow stiff legged deads might help high reps say around 15-20 heels elevated about 1 inch or so on a plate or board.

Front Squat
Military
Barbell curl
abs.

Brutal, bruising needs to go away first then maybe some light leg curls or SLD's high reps may help.

What's a good 3 day split?

Thinking:

Back/Bis
Chest/Tris
Legs/Shoulders

Thoughts?

Pending your genes sounds like your back maybe a weak point since day 1 is back in the list.

I would suggest but I am a Nobody.

Chest/Back
Shoulders/Arms
Legs.

For a while, I was doing:

Chest/Back/Traps
Legs
Delts/Arms

It was okay, but difficult to maintain intensity levels towards the end of the upper body days.

My back is pretty solid, actually. I only suggested that as back and leg day are the most taxing for me so I figured to separate them out.

I've been going with a 4 day for the most part because I feel like I run into energy issues when I put two groups together like chest/back, or anything with legs etc.

Yeah, I can definitely see intensity being an issue.

Maybe I'll just try to stick with the 4 day routine.  :-X

Sorry, I didn't read your post before submitting mine.
It looks like the only difference is the order of the days. I never could do shoulders the day after chest; I always felt my output was too adversely affected.

Only thing there is the Legs wear you out so delts/arms will suffer next day thats why I would put legs last then a day off. But I'm just a nobody just my trial and error with lifting.

I switched back to a four-day once my schedule permitted, and love it so much better.

I prefer devoting more to fewer muscles per session.

My days off are not always the same, but I try to avoid training more than two days in a row. My work is usually the determining factor. This week was a bitch because I had to work additional days at two different labs, and I'm on call (and getting paged more than usual) all week long.

I had to miss a day, so I tweaked my schedule a bit to sacrifice back day, which is what I'll most often do when needed since my back is my best developed muscle group. I would hate to skimp on the others, which need much more attention.

You're not a bodybuilder.  Get strong and work the whole body.
