I was thinking to post my pics in a few weeks time when I get where I want to be but with persistent requests from BigMc I am posting them now.
I will call this
stage 1 of my transformation from being a pig to getting lean (and maybe shredded
).
As I mentioned before, I am 46 years 'young', 6'5 tall and around 215 pounds, never used any gear in my life (you can tell
) and last time I used protein powder was about 8 years ago.
My diet consist of solid food only and multivits&minerals.
Ok, my pic where I look like a pig was taken at the end of May this year at the pool area(not pool parties Noone attends
) and I was around 260 pounds at the time.
This pic was a wake-up call for me as I could not believe how fat I was. Mirror can be a measure but pics don't lie.I used to go up to 280 pounds but never been this fat. Being a father and running my own business took a toll on me.
At the time my daily calories intake was anything from 3500-5000 calories. After seeing this pic I decided to do something and I wanted it to be drastic and fast as possible.
In a next month I lost about 10 pounds with 2500 cal diet. It was slow and I was not happy with results.
Mind you I was checking these boards for years but never wanted to join.
Just a daily dose of laugh was enough. Then I read the notorius Gal/Noone topic about dieting and getting shredded. That was what made me join this board and that was what gave me a kick in the ass to
do something about my 'physic'.
To make it short, my diet for a first 6 weeks was 1300 calories (fish, eggs, chicken, lean beef, nuts, green veggies was all I ate). I was going to gym 6 days on and 1 day off (45 minutes sessions, fast pace).
In a last 5 weeks I have changed it slightly with 3 days on and 1 day off gym session. Diet was (is) the same with inclusion of carbs on days I do not work out ( around 2500 calories).
I am now ready for a
next stage, cutting calories to 1000-1200 a day and no carbs for a next 5 weeks.
I believe that would make me close to where I want to be, will post pics anyway
I have to say that I have never experience fatique with this diet and pumps I am getting in the gym are just great and motivational.
Flame up guys
