I have no strong feelings either way about Mr Rourke.  My position is one of burning indifference.  I don't wish the man any ill but if he were to be struck by a Piper Cub or swallowed by a sinkhole then the business of my day would proceed as planned.  As far as I'm concerned he can do as he pleases and I'll shrug my shoulders if news of it happens to reach me.

Those who love him and those who despise him are strange folk.  They may have endured severe psychological trauma in the past.  Their preoccupation with Mickey Rourke is a symptom of a much deeper malady.  You'd do well to gently disengage from those who bring up Mickey Rourke on a regular basis.  They're not necessarily dangerous but may be in some instances.  Please be cautious around those who express passionate opinions about Mickey Rourke.

I don't love him or hate him.  He matters not in my life.  I liked "The Wrestler" and a few of his other movies but I will say this.

It must be nice to go through life with no self-awareness.  Because there's no way he has any walking outside much less in a boxing match wearing a fake skunk on his head.

What freaks me out is his clubbed fingers.  Every time I watch a film of his and it shows those freaky finger nails it takes me out of the movies immediately.
