My converted apartment was issued a compulsory purchase order a few years ago because they wanted to build some rail infrastructure.

I was told I'd receive fair market value. They were true to their word. Although I didn't tell them I'd split the largish main room in 2 and rewired the electrics to create 2 tiny rooms that were now basically closets. This meant the "fair" market value was now an extra 35k

My next door neighbor has a 3 bedroom 2 bath house...one with a foundation and no wheels...wasn't really too bad, just needed a new roof, had wood paneling...maybe about 20-30k in all for fixing it up.  I knew she wasnt happy there and i told her that i would buy the place for 50k in cash last year...she didn't own the land so it would have been a separate transaction.

I get back home and found that she sold the place and i met my new neighbor.  She said she couldnt pass up on a great deal.

She sold the house for 20k....20k for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house!!!!!  And i told her 50k last year!!!   Geez

it hasnt dawned on him that even his neighbors know he is full of shit

Its nice that Gucci loafers are made in Italy but i dont think its worth spending 850 dollars for them.  My Sebago Horsebit Loafers are way more durable than Gucci and were less than 200 bucks.  Recently i got some tan Cole Haan horsebit driving loafers and they are very comfortable to wear.  They run 100 bucks but i had some points at Jos A Bank that i used to buy them

I don't live paycheck to paycheck and I have plenty of money in the bank.  Everything that people see is what they get....car, home, clothes....where I get them from, etc.   Thats keeping it 100....not emulation, not fake it till I make it or anything
