Top guys make fantastic money.  The 200,000 that Mir and JDS got was what the UFC disclosed.  They often times just hand them bonuses in the locker room.  Some top fighters also get a % of the PPV buys (Lesnar easily took in a few mill every time he fought.)  You also have to remember the sponsers, expos, gyms etc.... Guys like Mir and Dos Santos take in a few mill a year easy.  Even the shitbags make a few hundred thousand a year.

  the fertitta brothers and dana are getting crazy rich while most fighters get chump change. danas always braggin about the ufc is more popular then boxing but guys like mayweather and pac man make way more money then the ufc champs id like to see all the mma fighters get paid better overall. guys like tito and chuck are well off but alot of the ex ufc champs are not. pride fc paid the fighters really good money, japan took care of the fighters

I'd have to agree with you on this, thought Dos Santos would pocket $1M or something, given he is the HW champ?  Didn't someone post a video of a fighter living large?  I guess he was living off of credit cards.  I don't think any of these guys will be seeing a Mayweather or Pac payday anytime soon.

Lets get real for a second.  Sure the fighters could get paid more, but they would go out of business if they were giving every tom, dick, and harry a million+ per fight.  The top guys get paid very well (millions per year) The scrubs get paid shit, because nobody would come to see them otherwise.  You have to work your way up the ladder.  You think those local shitbag boxers make alot of money?

It was Josh Koscheck.  He had a nice house, 3 or 4 cars, and a plane or helicopter?  Josh is a mid-level fighter, yet he has made multiple millions.

They don't get pay because in the UFC  all  fighters are replaceable, they are selling a brand ,  if a fighter  gets hurt  or  get caught  using steroids,or whatever   it doesn't matter   they don't cancel the show they just replace him

They have contracts for a reason.  Perfect example would be a guy like Dan Hardy.   Hardy fought Gsp for the championship a few years ago.  He just made 50,000 dollars (flat pay, not counting anything else) to fight in the first fight of the free card.  If you are on a winning streak when your contract is up, you will get a nice raise.

Yeah I'm glad Hardy won.  I have always liked him.  He needs to get better on the ground though.  He does very well against strikers, but this is mma.

I guess.  Kind of like Lesnar, GSP, or Silva.  All make a few million a fight with everything included.  Boxing is a dead sport though.  There will be nothing left once Manny and Floyd retire.

Dana never really liked Nelson.  I'm sure he used some lowball tactics for his contract (take it or leave it) some fighters need to know how to negotiate for a decent contract.
