In comparison to other years, yes
For starters, it was missing Victor M and Kai.
Overall the lineup was a far cry from the late 90's, early 2000's
melvin was soft (but good for Melvin
)
Toney was great, but still needs to fill out his frame
Wolf was way off, poorly timed prep
Phil was great, but his skin is starting to thicken
Jay is well past his prime
Dex looked good, but sacraficed his condition for "an Olympia package" (eg: more size)
As Dorian was saying in his interview with Levrone "it's like all the guys have decided to just come in at 90%")
Nobody was REALLY hungry this Olympia. No one brought razor sharp conditionig apart from Silvio who got screwed.
Low standard TBH
The sad thing is, watch an amatuer championship from europe, all the guys are in much better condition than the guys on the Olympia stage
