Many people have emailed me that people are going too far. Well, if you are down here, then you know why. So, while preserving as much as I can, the time for baseless malicious attacks has to go. Even the worse offenders email me asking me that if others stop, they will stop. And at least I know that 95% of you agree with me.

So here goes, in no order, but just typing away…


1) Porn. There are Getbig Main Discussion Boards, and then there are the Alphabet Boards. What goes on the Alphabet Boards will not be tolerated on other boards, plain and simple. The #1 issue is no porn in your avator, or on the main boards, except of course for the Sexy Boards. No porn means no porn. No topless, no bottomless, no porn.

2) Racism. Stop with the racist comments. Enough. I don’t care if he or she started it - it needs to stop. If you have a problem, click on the report to moderator, or email or pm Ron. Eventually, the other person will go to the Time Out Board.  But dont report for the little things, it truly needs to be offensive, not a simple joke.

3) Malicious Attacks.  Malicious, baseless and personal attacks on the main boards will not be tolerated. There is a fine line, we know that. Some people like to attack anyone who dares to post and share. Enough is enough. This goes for everyone, even people with blue stars. A malicious and baseless attack is on someone when you know it isnt true, and just meant to piss someone else.  No blatant attacks, no blatant lies. People are never going to agree on topics, so discussion on varying opinions is great. But enough with the personal attacks. The constant negativity is tiresome, even for me and my friends.

4) Gay remarks / Profanities:  We don’t need to hear that so and so is gay, or you are fucked up, or fuck you, or jerk off buddy. Not every thread needs to be hijacked with gay stuff, or calling someone a pussy whore. If you do that - then welcome to the Time Out Board.

5) Negativety. This is not a perfect world. Bodybuilding had lots of problems. We can discuss it. But constructively. To some, no matter what they are trying to do, it is not enough. Nothing will ever be right. If you don’t like the sport, if you don’t want to help the sport, if you don’t care about bodybuilding, whether amateur or pro, then go away. Some of us do care.  I don’t want to see 20 straight posts in a row, all negative. Enough.

6) The boards are meant for a fun place to go to, but lately, all we saw is negative post after negative post made by a handful of people. That will go. So many people, in the industry, around, would like to post, but they don’t. Do you know why. Because they do not feel good about the comfort level here, because if they post, they will be attacked. This is crap. This has to stop. Even when they post something positive, they have to defend themselves.  If you think this is censorship – you are right. I don’t mind discussions, arguments – but deal with it like you are talking face to face with someone, and it is no problem. Ownings, meltdowns, and so on just to provoke needs to go.  There are alternative boards, even here, for your fun. The alphabet boards. Leave the stuff down there.

“I made a thread about a pro, and ____ comes along trolling, loitering, etc.. Its getting old. A lot of members are tired of this and don’t want to post because of stuff like this. Immaturity.. People dont want to deal with this. Anyhow, I am asking to please bring back the boards where free speech is there without the malicious attacks.”

“I just read his posts and how he talks to people. I don't dislike him but he's unstable and disrespectful. They wouldn’t take them them like that face to face, so why here?”

“I love Getbig! I come here and check the forums for news, pics, training tips, and some opinions. But come on already, Gossip and Opinions says no "baseless attacks". Enforce it. Some of these idiots just say stuff to give themselves the satisfaction hard on that they "talked trash with anyone". I mean I am all for freedom of speech but this bullshit is getting out of hand.”
