They are very solid and will make you one hell of a strong gripper if you keep up with them and keep going up.

Ive just een doing Farmers Walk and behind the back curls, but I figured I might as well mix it up, as the same things can get boring.

You trying to rip your dick off son?
-
Captain of crush go from 60lbs to 365lbs. Once you get over 120lbs they are really hard to close for full reps.
I also used the Ivanko super gripper. I select a resistance that I can get two sets of 20.

Trying to have forearms like the old school iron workers, although I am not too far behind. ;) ;) ;)

I think I am going to go with the Captain of Crush grippers. They look very well made.
-
They are expensive. The ivanko is made more for bodybuilders and the Captain of crush is for power lifters, strong men comp guys and Olympic lifters. The Ivanko has a lot of adjustment in one gripper but if you're 280 and have the hands of a gorilla they won't give enough resistance like the Captains of crush.

I want to develop massive forearms like a powerlifter/strongman!! I am not far off! :D :D
-
I always admire your forearms, they clearly help you get the girls!

Bulking phase there. Huge forearms but not ripped.

I have tons of grippers. CoC are very good. (Randy (Dr. Strossen) is a friend of mine that I see at the AOBS dinner on occasion). And some of the CoC knock-offs are good.
I bought an original Ironman Gripper from the 70's years back for 20.00 at the AOBS dinner of of a friend.
I mentioned it on Dr. Strossen's forum (Ironmind), people were going crazy asking me to sell it to them.
I tried ebay, and got 350.00 for it :)
Its sort of a cult (visit the "Grip Board") but a fun hobby never t he less...
The Bruce Lee gripper is actually my fave.

Ya, for twinks they are useless, agreed. ::)
But some legends who can close the #4, not so useless. Real iron-men and women, use grippers.
Poser wanna-be twink bodybuilders, do not...

Lee Priest, Frank Mcgrath?
Would pull up ridiculous pictures of them but my computer isn't letting me click things which is amazing
Did any of these twink bodybuilders with bigger forearms than that guy at a lower bf% use hand grippers ????

looking for a gripper to train forearms...
the lack of knowledge of getbiggers is incredible

You can buy the 3 pack for $60. That is a very good deal for a high quality gripper.

I wonder if Santa will bring me Captains of Crush hand grippers!
-
Do hand grippers or grip training create any noticeable difference in forearm size?
-
I wonder if Santa will bring me Captains of Crush hand grippers!
Did you ask him personally or are you depending on one of his less than reliable helpers?
I understand everyone deserves a second chance and part of Santa's charm is his willingness to offer opportunities to those looking to reestablish them selves but he needs to vet his screening process because A LOT of messages ARE NOT being delivered.
It leads to frustrating Christmas mornings.

I have several captains of crush grippers. Was a fan of them for many years. Nowadays, I find the movement unnatural and it strains the joints. They just hurt. I used to be able to close the no 2 (which was monumental for my weak frame) but now I can barely do the no 1 a couple of times.

did it give you any benefit when you could close the number 2 ?

I think Phil Heath has used a version of these. Also the V angled forearm bar that you put weight on in the middle is good as well.

I love these crazy old advertisements.
They're so politically incorrect.

The guy in cartoon looks like your fellow countryman-competitive bodybuilder, Sulby Prince. Looks like Sulby beat Rusty Jeffers by a decade or so. Clearly the British muscle scene has its dark side.

Beach, to our working together at L.A. Fitness and the great friendship we shared. We were best of friends and there are no words to decribe my pain as I had hoped one day to see you again. So to you my Sulby, the one person that nicknamed me 'Bundykins' I will never forget you and thank you for giving me the years of happiness you did. I know u are in a better place, free from pain...I love you and am so happy you have found peace, the kind of peace you could never find on earth. Love, Jerika Steele (aka Cyndi White, 'Bundykins')

doing alot of back excercises gripping heavy dbs and bbs helps forearmsize alot more...

Story about Sulby
He was first backstage in the heavyweights the year Dorian got his pro card (88)
He was getting ready and his fellow competitors started coming in, he turned to his friend and said "every time that door opens I drop a place"

Jeff used to meltdown and quit all the time.
“fuck this place I’m out of here”
Then you’d see him back again 3 months later.
