And not just that mate - Doz was amazing from the front, side and back. His look in the 93 Mr Olympia was his best look, although I like the precontest pics from Kevin better 8)

Yep, '93 Dorian is one of my all-time favourites. He was fucken beast.

Even Ronnie and Milos don't come close, you have to have an austrian, Arnie is NEARLY unmatched, he still has a master...

Just as hard as Dorian.
In my opinion, Haney , Cutler and Sergio all had better lines than Yates in FRONT lat shots.
Only Haney ( and Coleman 3-4 yrs ago) was better at a BACK lat however.
Yates may ave had th best ever all time back dbl bi however.
Coleman had better bi peaks from the back, but Yates owned the back dbl bi when he was winning the O as did Haney when he won his 8 straight.

It was one of Yates' best poses but Sergio looked better. it was one of Arnold's and Ronnie's worst poses. Arnie thinned out a lot in that pose and his ridiculously thick pecs looked only mediocre in that pose. Haney was good in that pose but his pecs were always oddly uneven in that pose.

I like yates it the front lat spread...Coleman rounded midsection throws off the continuity from top to bottom...too distracting for me. Olivia's is pretty impressive.

It's such as great pose like the front double bocep pose...if you can't pull it off it becomes quickly evident and your weak parts really jump out, unlike the most muscular or palms in front of you together.
I wish I had the lats to do it..... :-\
It also seems to me to be one of the best poses for all around muscularity. In some ways it might be the best pose for displaying a powerful physique...which is why I think it fits certain body styles like Yates, Reg or even Franco.
I think that Coleman drug usuage gave him a Herculean look but I dont think its his natural style. Look at his younger pics and his lines are more graceful. You can't say the same with Yates...he looks like a mug from the beginning.

Franco's rear lat spread is unbeliavable, width like that, only Tony Pearson.

Too short to be impressive??? He can't control that! Lee Priest is impressive for his height as was Danny Padillo. You work with what you got. He packed alot of muscle onto his frame and had tons of functional strength. He won powerlifting and BBing comps...and his lats seem pretty wide to me!

Agreed. Arnold expanded his ribcage when he hit the side chest, making it so much more impressive. Today it seems like they're trying to focus on contracting the pecs and arms too much and not expanding the ribcage, i prefer arnolds way.

Agreed. In that pose (and that pose only) he beats Arnold. I'd rate it:

2. Arnold or Cormier (both have weaknesses)

Arnold does it the old skool way, then it changed. If the pictured bodybuilders did it the way Arnold was doing it, they would look more impressive.
