There was a football game of the Deaf league and the teams and supporters (Belfast and doncaster) were in my bar at the weekend.

Fuckers wouldnt budge at end of night. So annoying. Girls were so hot.

Anyway at end of night they started fighting and shit and then around 20 cops with batons came beating teh shit out of each other.

It was so frustrating teying to get these people out i can only imagine how the cops would have felt trying to talk to deaf drunk upset people

Bro, no offense, but all the JJ guys I've seen bouncing got their asses ha nded to them, Jiu Jitsu is not made for handling multiple drunk opponents at one time, esp. at a club, muay thai or boxing is much better for handling several guys at one time, as soon as a JJ guy goes to the ground (which is what JJ is based on) it's over for the JJ guy cause he's catching boots to the head from buddy's friends, end of story.

i dont remember saying anything about going to the ground,if you knew anything about bjj you would know that you can choke a guy out or put him in many different submissions holds from the standing position,we never take a person down in a club.we just lock them in a choke hold or standing arm lock and escort them outside.also we where told we cannot strike any occupants cause of lawsuits and other legal issues.

It's actually a misconception that bjj is strictly a ground fighting martial art. Unfortunately most of the bjj schools don't teach the self-defense part, but, it still exists.

Youre totally telling the truth here,anybody who has done bouncing recently (in last 3-5yrs) knows you CANNOT strike a customer

After i left that particular METAL BAR i was on very good terms with the "customers" there where allways some junkie who could not handle his liquor so i usually just carried them away, so once they realized that they were outside the bar they wondered off.

OK, so after i left the "customers" thought that the new bouncer was of the same sort of guy as me, you know (don't start anything and there won't be anything)... Well he wasn't, he was this Ukrainian boxer who had a few screws loose from the "humane" Russian army.

So first night some easy going pot head comes in and thinks he can shoot the shit whit him like he was able to do with me. Long story short: "he opens his mouth, the word GORILLA comes out as does the right cross from that Ukrainian guy)... Ever since that first night the owners wanted me back and i said: "too little, too late."
