I'm sure by this point we've run out of shit...big non moving shit to bomb. Now u need SOF. I'm sure they're their but they need conventional troops to support them. I ID from FT Reilly, KS is sending their DIV headquarters...about 500 folks to Iraq. We did this shit in A-Stan and then ended up sending most of 10th Mountain to support 5th Group. I'm not sure where all these people will come from as they continue to cut all the experience away and leave nothing much left.

WASHINGTON -- Iraqi pilots mistakenly delivered food, water and ammunition to Islamic State militants on a recent mission that was meant to supply their own service members with the supplies, NBC News reported.
"Some pilots, instead of dropping these supplies over the area of the Iraqi army, threw it over the area that is controlled by ISIS fighters,” Hakim Al-Zamili, a member of the Iraqi parliament and a senior security official, told NBC. “Those soldiers were in deadly need of these supplies, but because of the wrong plans of the commanders in the Iraqi army and lack of experience of the pilots, we in a way or another helped ISIS fighters to kill our soldiers."
A brigadier-general in Iraq’s Defense Ministry also confirmed the news to NBC, attributing it to pilots who were "young and new." The incident reportedly occurred on Sept. 19.
The Pentagon declined HuffPost's request for comment, referring all questions over to the Iraqi Security Forces.
The reliability of the Iraqi military has been an issue since President Barack Obama's announcement that he planned to step up the military campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
The United States in June began stepping up support for Iraqi and Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State in Iraq. It has been striking targeted sites in Iraq since early August and began bombing locations in Syria on Sept. 23.
Obama has said he does not want to put U.S. forces on the ground in a combat role to fight militants and instead will rely on partners in those countries. But Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey recently said that about half of the Iraqi army is incapable of effectively working with the United States to battle the Islamic State, while the other half needs help rebuilding with additional training and equipment.

I wasn't going down this road, but since you decided to make it Christian vs. Muslim, I'll answer this first:
Muslims as a whole are certainly more violent than Christians... As I've gone on record before, the Muslim religion for whatever reason seems to be on average about 500 years behind Christianity in regards to how it views the rest of society.

Here is why - the people doing beheading are doing it based on exact writings in the Koran "Smite them at the neck . . . " , etc. And in doing so - they are trying to create a Pan Arab Caliphate to where you either convert or die.

These people aren't a sovereign country...at some point very soon if not now we will have run out of conventional targets. They will still have a pretty big army to do damage with. In that case, they can't complain on how he conducts military operations.
I see lots of repubs bitching about "Obama is doing it wrong", but then they say "We will draft our own legislation... after elections, after holidays, after inaugurations... THEN we'll let the NEXT congressional class deal with it".
Congress is kicking the can down the road. Refusing to get on board, or deliver a better plan... hey, we're just here to bitch about it while contributing nothing.

The stuff we're doing now is easy...hitting buildings and all the captured junk they got off of the Iraqi army...plus what they have from the Syrian military. We're really good at this shit and soon Isis won't have much in the way of captured toys. After that you need intell to find out where they are...and lazing. Only our dudes can do that with any great effect.
