Is "Fitness Youtube" dying a slow and painful death?
« on: February 22, 2017, 10:45:00 AM »
The Times Piana, Bradley Martyn etc. got 500k clicks per video are long gone. They are struggling to get 100k these days while having 1 million+ followers, which means only 1 out of 10 of their own subscribers is watching their crappy videos these days. The Clickbaiting seems to get more and more desperate these days (the 100th "Transformation series", HGH and IGF-1 videos over and over again, "Hitting on girls in the gym" series etc etc yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn...)

Is "Fitness Youtube" on it's deathbed? :'(

Yes I believe it is.  It's a passing fad.  The entire world has seeious ADD now thanks to the constant stimulation from smartphones and are already looking for something new.

The standard is lower than ever, not sure if that means it is on its way out or not. The low  intelligence level of the viewership might keep it afloat.

Much like the magazine industry before it, it's over saturated. Piana, and the bigger guys will survive, but you're going to see tons of repetitive videos from them much like the mags were force to run 3000 versions of the old how to add 1" to your arms articles.

Its Bodybuilding/fitness magazines come to life. Every year, each month it's the same body part. They really have nothing to say, it's the same thing, nothing revolutions under the sun, just recycled over and over again.

That video posted here of that fkbag Lex getting a haircut made a venga boys clip look manly.
Surely no one gives two fks about a 160pound twink cutting his hair or beard off

Theres only so much you can show... Piana got big because he was one of the first to openly talk about gear use but the whole "how to get big biceps" videos nobody cares about anymore.
The channel i see growing is enhanced athlete because they are so outragous with the drug stuff and notice how Rich started talking about drugs again now his channel is getting less popular.

They will always have an audience because there is always a new generation of young men who get into training and look towards them for inspiration. However, with so many Youtube fitness channels around, it's becoming increasingly difficult for each individual channel to attract more views.

as long as young boys are being born and are allowed to reach the age of 17 then the "Fitness Youtube" trend will never die
