everyone bitches, but i can't name one single person that i know personally who's been fired cuz of the "recession".

then again, i don't know too many people who sucked off the company's teet for decades while producing no results.  those people are better fired anyways, hopefully they'll die of starvation.

dont listen to your stock broker.

you can ALWAYS move your jpm portfolio into "fixed income" at anytime. broker's prefer you stay in stocks for self serving reasons. don't let a broker tell you otherwise.

with regard to the market, i would stay put for the time being. remember, 83% of the time we rally the market during the holiday. i assume this season will be no different. when the time approaches, i'll try to give you my best "heads up" so you can avoid losing your capital in a potential market meltdown.

w88, always keep in mind that brokers are nothing more than ultra smart sales people who know little to nothing regarding markets. their main purpose is collecting other peoples assets......if the market crashes, they NEVER move your money to safety. their instructed to contact you and say "don't worry we need to look long term". i shit you not !  try telling that to the average investor who was directed by their brokers to enter tech stocks during "the tech boom". if investors only knew half the story.......

Now's a pretty good time to be a Real Estate Agent. Lots of people who can no longer afford their homes are selling, cheaper properties are selling like hot cakes, more expensive homes aren't selling as well but still are selling and rich people are buying to get their hands on some "bargains".....

My Stocks have lost Thousands and Thousands of dollars.  No worries though as the market will certainly rebound and I have no reason to sell or a need to do so.

 ::)

If you really had that much money you wouldn't say "thousands and thousands" of dollars.  It would have been sufficient to get your point across by merely saying "a lot of money".  Although it seems typical of you to make claims that you can't prove.

Then you go on to claim to know for certain that the market will rebound as if you are some sort of expert.  Finally, you go on to say that you have no need to sell, as if "thousands and thousands" of dollars is just a drop in the bucket for you - a person who cannot even afford a digital camera to verify the lifts you routinely lie about or a scanner to scan a copy of the degree that you don't have.
