Cranberry juice not from concentrate mixed with orange juice
12oz ground beef cooked with spinach
Chicken stock to make the ground beef like a soup
Handful of baby carrots

Lunch
Two tacos consisting of a lot of roasted chicken, whole avocado, sour cream and cheese

Dinner
Veggie noodle pasta
Roasted chicken
Covered in a garlic oil cream sauce I made

Dessert
1 750ml bottle of glenlivet 18

Good for you! Truth be told, having a fifth of good Glenlivet scotch to spend the evening with , made me very envious. It is rare that I succumb to spending the bucks for quality Glenlivet single malt. Most of the time, I've enjoyed  drinking it, it was a gift.

One night I went out and decided I needed a drink that was different than beer.  I saw "jack daniels, rocks" in a magazine and said that would be it.

First sip actually made me shudder.  Then ice started melting a bit, and it was better, but not great.

Then I read up on bourbons, learned what to look for, how to open them up, etc.....and acquired the taste.

The higher end ones are now unbelievable.

If I started with them though ,probably would have the same result you did.

I used to be a bourbon, and islay scotch(Smokey)guy..But the older I get I don’t have the taste for them like I used to. I will still drink bourbon but not islay

I typically drink speyside and Irish exclusively these days.

I don’t drink beer or wine at all anymore due to an autoimmune response...which is bullshit since I make large quantities of beer and wine.

It's an acquired taste that you get as you mature and try new things. You remind of the lady I heard ordering at a fine authentic Italian restaurant. She said I want clams and linguine but I don't want any clams in it. The waiter said so you want linquine in oil? She said, No, clams and linquine.

I have been giving the "raw primal diet" from Vonderplanitz a try and it seems to be great.
You basically eat raw animal products and sip a bit on vegetable juices. If Vonderplanitz was right then this is an atomic bomb of uneasy truth.

I also eat some dark chocolate and drink coffee... can't help it.
