I had that fight wrong... I thought Ngannou would kill Stipe.... instead Ngannou almost died himself... of exhaustion, lol

ngannou looked like the walking dead from 2nd round and onwards

but we've seen that before in fighters who have a lot of muscle and put a lot of power into their shots, tyron woodly used to have a little bit of a problem with that, now he knows how to regulate it better

Somebody at sherdog who had long predicted that Stipe would lose... abruptly changed his mind right before the fight when he saw Stipe’s facial expression (as he walked to the octagon). This person said that Stipe looked like he was willing to die if necessary.

Excellent strategy on Stipe's part, making Ngannou wear him like a backpack for 4 rounds while softening up that meat.

Anyone else think the UFC hype train behind Ngannou got out of hand? Dana White was riding those nuts similar to the way he would with the likes of Rousey and McGregor.

I really liked how Stipe didn't allow for Dana to put the belt around his waist. Instead, he took the belt from Dana's hands and gave it to his own coach to do the deed.


The hype Dana put on this piece of trash was disgusting he even said he was the hardest puncher in the universe

I think ngannou missed a handful of knockout shots by centimeters in round 1... Even the one shot he connected with in round 2 had stipe scrambling like crazy.

And unlike some fighters who are completely dead when they gas, you could tell he still had knockout power. Even when he could barely stand up straight, and threw only one or two punches in the round, those punches still had heat and kept stipe cautious.

I wouldn't count him out in a rematch. This seems like a 50/50 fight to me.

ngganal   lost every single round this fight was not close, his wrestling is so bad, if he is matched up with anyone with decent wrestling he will lose,   the guy was matched up with hasbeen hw's with weak chins, anyone that has any fight knowledge should have realized this. he is all hype.  all downhill from here for him
