Yet no one gives a shit about him...how is that? Dude have some great structure...but...no details, no separation in them arms...dude look great from distance, but close up pictures he actually haven't got any details...
Where does he get money from? Runner up price money, is that enough? Some contract with supplement company?

He was gifted second this year. Thats two years in a row he showed up to the o with distension. Good quads but upper body is average

In this day and age of social media personality is the most important thing because people want to be entertained, that is why kali muscle and rich piana got so big even though they are not pro bodybuilders, even if you win contests and you are boring you wont get a huge following.

I think it just depends on what you're looking for, solid information about training, nutrition, etc or simply entertainment. Most folks choose the latter, so I'm not surprised about the featured Youtube stars on Gen Iron.

Not sure followers mean much of anything if you look at Instagram as a whole tho... Some things are just fun to keep on the Instagram feed to see, but it doesn't translate into sales.

Sure his physique is great. He needs a better back and conditioning, but he doesn't have a standout personality. He's too laid back. He's a go with the flow kind of guy.

No "wow" factor. At this level it's about being a freak. When Ramy, Roelly, Dex, prime Wolf, and yes, even Phil, your eyes open up and do a double take.
The fact that Rhoden always looks like he's about to take a nap doesn't really add to the excitement

I was listening to Rx on youtube w/ Dave about the whole supplement industry.
Apparently Shawn has a quota that must be met in order to sign with a company...
And apparently his price tag doesn't seem worth it because he his Runner Up Mr. O
If he swallowed his pride, and took a deal of a little lesser value and put the work in to boost sales.. I'm sure he will meet his quota within a year or 2
its all up to him.

Too late, and Kai runs his own business now. He is the main Sponsor of his products.

Kai needs to break out of whatever new mold he has formed into. Get back into shows. The acting can be there after your prime years are fading. Why not give one last run for winning the Sandow, as it seemed you were so passionate about in the MD and Flex videos not too many years ago?

Because he is shit and undeserving of praise. He was gifted with that 2nd place winning and far from deserving of it. He should not have been in the top 6 or even the top 10 at the 2016 Mr. O.
