Can't think of a better boxer in the past 3 decades. He has completely overshadowed Floyd Mayweather. He has become a bigger cash cow than Oscar De La Hoya.

He is great, that's for sure.

Mayweather will never step in the ring with him, damn shame

I agree, the only other boxer I can think of that even comes close to his speed was Sugar Ray Leonard.

I was thinking the same thing watching that fight. same speed, throws HARD combos at all times, great ring movement and instincts

Pacquiao’s performance was so good that no one laughed when promoter Bob Arum said he believes Pacquiao is the best fighter he ever saw. And yes, Arum included Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvelous Marvin Hagler in that group.

Bob Arum has seen more fights than most of us put together....He knows his shit....for him to state that means a little more than anonymous people on the internets bickering over who's the best.

Pacman was awesome - made Cotto look amateurish.

Hate to be pessimistic though but something tells me we'll never see Mayweather get in the ring with Manny.  :-\

Just watched it on sky sports,it was like watching a wildlife documentary where a killer whale plays with a baby seal.At the end Pac didn`t look like he`d even been in a fight yet Cotto looked like he`d been hit by a truck.Made me smile when the commentator said that Pac was booked in to sing at a concert a couple of hours after the fight, now thats confidence.

Nobody can really exchange punches with Pacman because they'll just get tagged.
To beat Pacquioa you have to box/counter punch him and thats why I believe Mayweather will be the favourite if they ever fought

Pacquiao has not only speed but serious power and accuracy aswell, those uppercuts killed Cotto.

I wont go as far as saying Pacquiao is as good as Ali but IMO he is definetly nearing that stage. top 10 ATG for sure

I hope the public turns on Mayweather to were he's forced to fight Manny...He wants all this money not realising he isn't a big draw his oppenents are...He is boring as fuck and if he steps in that right with Manny he's gonna get his as beat...

Honorable Mention:  Roy Jones Jr.

This was his rematch with Griffin after he was DQ'd in their first fight, after which Griffen was saying he would've beat

Jones anyways  ;D

just not good enough

Pacquiao v Mayweather would be an awesome fight. Manny was just incredible against Cotto, with some of the most accurate and fast punches i have ever seen. Mayweather is technically the best defensive boxer competing today.

Lets hope they can get it on.
