Title: Good push exercise for low repetitions
Post by: sculpture on October 09, 2012, 12:51:58 PM
hello, just a preface to this request. Im looking for a suitable push exercise that can be performed in the lower rep range. My workouts are currently a combination of heavy multi compound exercises and body weight exercises - ive forgone using bodybuilding rep range protocols and now just perform more functional exercises.

During my push workouts i perform flat bench (5 x 5) and push press (5 reps also) and then follow up with handstand pressups, ring dips, hindu pressups, dips etc but i would like a 3rd free weight exercise also.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

DB alternate presses.Or one arm side press, not to be confused with a regular DB press. Good Luck.

Floor Presses, have become a big fan of these in the last year

Yes i have tried the one press with a slight push with the legs.

Much more fun than the seated db press
