They don't really do it properly in this country, but i do.  I did full-on lights, chairs, tables, orange umbrelllas and the 8' spider.  It didn't rain.

So, this is a post about what I wore tonight:

I still cannot believe I actually did this...  I ripped up a king size  (beautiful cotton egptian ) sheet into 6" bandages and wrapped them around my body.  I went as a Mummy.  This is sitting outside on my front street !!!

I got a photo.  It's dead funny since I'm single and childless.  Great night.   All the cute kids came round and they remember me from last year and are trying harder.  Fantastic outifits.

I had to unbind myself about an hour later when I realised I needed to have a pee.

this thread will only work if you have photographic evidence.

if you didn't take any pics, dress up as the mummy again and have the nice gay lad down the hall take the pics.

this thread most certainly won't work, but just in case?  I've modified it to ask what you wore tonight?

I was gonna put on my leather pants and a cowboy shirt, bit I thought of the mummy outfit at the last minute.  It was so funny.

I do have what i call my 'drag trunk', which is all like black satin sheets and bits of fluourscent sequins.  I'm glad I didn't go as a witch.

My neighbourhood is getting all up and coming.  They came in droves and the mums and dads had video cameras and digiphotophones.

AlG? I haven't got one yet though.  When I buy a computer camera I'm gonna need someone to teach me and I'm going to have to buy the best, so therefore I've done without.

I took my pix tonight on a disposible, okay?

what did you go as tonight?

I was going to be a Dominatrix/personal trainer.

Instead, I finished painting my bathroom.  Now Im a black woman splattered with white paint in old workout gear.

They don't really do it properly in this country,

I didn't realise that dressing up in ridiculous costumes and going around begging was doing 'it properly'

you do know the origins of Halloween do you not?

you silly scrubber

you've misread me.  i didn't go out.  i decorated the front garden, put on rags and stayed home.

perhaps I ought to dress as a scrubber next year.  I wish I'd thought of that (after what I've been doing this year

(I've been cleaning toxic soot and washing my hands like 40 times a day & I still can't get them clean...

rubber gloves perhaps next year

thanks for making me giggle

Sandra

but did you answer the door and give them candy or did you just stay home indoors?

perhaps I prefer your night, you got something done and all I did was have a laugh.

i still cannot believe i got dressed up as a mummy.

My fave last night was a whole set of kids, like a huge extended family.  All the girlies were witches. Two mums, three aunties and one or two older blokes with cams.  20 teenage girls in incredible outfits...

and there's this one little boy in the middle, about 4 or 5 years old.  I said and who are you (boo).  He told me his name.

Such a cutie.  He has his Sunday Best on.  Must have been a page boy.  Frilly white shirt and a black satin suit?  So cute.  I can't wait till I do it again next year.

with mad love
Linda
