A father-of-two hanged himself live over the internet in Britain's first 'cyber suicide'.
Kevin Whitrick, 42, took his life after being goaded by dozens of chatroom users from across the world who initially believed he was play acting.

But as they watched in horror, Mr Whitrick climbed onto a chair, smashed through a ceiling and then hanged himself with a piece of rope.

First I want to see that movie, second what an idiot, I have no sympathy for people who want to kill themself.

about 4 years ago a guy up the road from me phoned his daughter to tell her he was gonna hang himself, put the phone down and did it. Callous bastard, now they run a football tournament in his honour every year. 2 weeks before my wedding in November one of my closest friends violently killed himself and i hate him for it. Unfortunately circumstances drive you to it and no matter what you say, its ultimately the bravest thing you can do

A friend of mine I used to go to the football with every week, had a brother that killed himself. He never really spoke about this and I never asked any questions but I and others new it was killing him inside.

One day his wife rang me and told me that he had a nervous breakdown, and had been commited. I didn't see him for months and months, even after he got out of the hospital I kept away. When I did eventually seee him I was shocked at how bad he was. He was totally different from the person I knew. It was very saad to see...

My dad offed himself when I was 12.

It does fuck you up pretty bad in some ways trust me... my horrible step father after that probably screwed me up more though!
