How is that "broscience"? Plenty of people have done that (myself included) and it's  yielded great results, usually for first-time users.

First time I loaded with it, I gained 7 lb in a week and 12 in 21/2 weeks. That was back in 1996.

I haven't replicated those results, since them. Again, that tends to happen with first-time users.

How is that "broscience"? Plenty of people have done that (myself included) and it's  yielded great results, usually for first-time users.

First time I loaded with it, I gained 7 lb in a week and 12 in 21/2 weeks. That was back in 1996.

I haven't replicated those results, since them. Again, that tends to happen with first-time users.

hahahahhahahahahahahahah ahaha

When Muscle Tech first came out there were a bunch of bros who religiously believed (and preached) the ridiculous "1732% better" claims, and of course they always had a friend (not present there) who achieved the advertised results.

Locking out on leg extensions strengthens the knees (? !!)

Double boiling boneless, skinless chicken breast, drinking distilled water.

Fat burning begins past the 20 minute mark, anything before that is useless.

Drinking very cold water speeds up fat burning.

roman chair sit ups will sort your abs out as zabo used to do them

try mixing canned tuna with diet coke to up your protein

gamma oryzanol is as effective over 16 weeks as roids

static contraction training is effective

don't forget to detoxify your body

i only take roids to stop me losing muscle when dieting

if you do inclines above 45 degrees you will injure yourself

try declines for lower chest

There is nothing wrong with this statement.

2000 grams of carbs from say ice cream, if we hypothetically took all the protein and fat out of it so that it would be exactly 8000 kcals, would put exactly the same amount of fat on someone, as 2000 grams of carbs from brown rice would (again with the fat and protein taken out of it).

Bro science is not necessarily 'wrong', bro science denotes a sort of jock/laymans understanding of real science that may or may not be true. Professionals/scientist are not always correct with their ideas either, and sometimes deliberately misinterpret data for profit motivations..

Mainstream science (as far as sports nutrition and bodybuilding goes) tends to be WAAAAAAAAAAY behind what we iron enthusiasts have known for decades.

You can go back 25 or 30 years and read nutrition and training information that some mainstream pubs will post, as if it just got discovered two weeks ago.

Or, as I said four years ago:

You can look at late-20th/early-21st century research, regarding protein and its effects on building mass. And, I can virtually guarantee you that bodybuilders were doing 30-40 years prior to these findings, and getting great results.

Or as this quote puts it,

"Millions of people are involved in exercise programs that involve strength training and aerobic exercise. High-protein diets are the craze. Arnold (Schwarzenegger) was doing that back in the '70s, in the 60s." - Bill Phillips, "Iron and Beyond", from the Pumping Iron: 25th Anniversary Edition DVD.

friend of mine does exactly that.

i asked him whether he realizes he will just extend his diet time needed, he replied, nah i dont care i need couple lbs more until im a monster.

hes already fat and very smooth and somehow thinks the weight he will gain from now will be muscle
it dosen't work period,,even enhanced but difference is enhanced u could be smooth but full and hard looking with veins and look swole in tank top or clothes ,,real muscle leaness with fiber look ,,dry takes long time training, eating, timing natty or enhanced long process...

yeah, enhanced you will still gain muscle, ofcourse, but just as much fat.youre absoutely right, it will pop out some, in form of fullnes and a vein here and there under the bloof, but thats it.

training and eating right over long period of time is the key to quality physique.

time is more importnat than steroids, something that dumb newcomers selectively dont like to hear.
you'll agree thats why zane,,,abdullahh  stood and stand out due to fibrous leaness under clothes u just can't appreciate...big guys like dj and ronnie, yates is impressive but impossible to keep for life it's illusion/delusion,,,

Upright rows will fray the long head bicep tendon at its Origin if you have the wrong kind of Acromion process (scapula.) Stupid exercise. Just ask Big Dicked Bob.

a guy who spotted me on shoulder press today in the gym.....

i did a set of something with 15reps, then a set of 10 reps , followed by a set of 9 reps, increasing the weight.

he first gave me the "valueable" piece of advice to increase the weight(to do fewer reps), in order to get better gains(i dwarf him and outlean him its not even funny  btw).

then when i pyramided my weight down, he gave me the tip to not do too many sets, for i could be overtraining easily.

coming from a guy who looks entirely untrained i thought this was a classic.

side note there is a thread on muscular development forum from a parker or something guy giving dietary advice, its full of bro science, i laughed all my way through it.

You do know that for the natural trainee this advice is correct, right?  Lower repetitions, lower volume, higher intensity and more rest.  You do also acknowledge that you probably look better than him because of drugs, not your training regime, right?

To summarise this thread for enthusiastic young trainers, in case they don't have time to read the whole thread:

Basically it's all about switching up your routines, and adding mad weight to shock the muscles into growth mode and keep your body guessing. Hit the muscles from every angle and don't leave the gym without using the cables if you want the sculpted look. Eat at least 8 small meals per day, 1.75 grams of protein per pound of lean bodyweight, chew your shakes to trick the brain into meal mode, and keep your supplement cupboard filled so your body's getting all it needs to mutate. Sleep for at least 12 hours so your bicep peaks can fully recover from the extra inch per week from hitting that head, and the extra length it's grown from full ROM genetically altering EZ bar curls.

1 gram of protein per lb of lean bodyweight and if your trying to add on muscle mass you should definitely be trying to hit that number on a daily basis
Nope, it's a way to sell fart powder...there are tons of dudes in prison who don't get that and make gains. More or less, the excess comes out in the toilet, or eff up your kidneys.

oh another you look better because of drugs ,lol, i look better than that guy when im off too.

as natty, the difference to enhanced is just they need more rest days, thats all.

they train with lower weight compared to when on, and can keep the volume, just more rest days.
