Mika calls the NRA leadership "sick in the head", "fringe." She says people should be embarrassed to be a member of the NRA.

worst timing ever on that video game app. :(

What's wrong with it? Why is it OK for Obama's kids to have armed guards at their school yet no one else should be able to? It's pathetic and elitist.
Kind of like how Obama's security team is allowed to carry full automatic military rifles.

More Crybaby bs.

Joe really has been criticizing the Republican party here lately.

Well he is the president of the most powerful nation in the world, I would expect anyone of that stature to have armed personal protecting him at all times. While I don't need armed personal to protect me, I do have a right to defend my life and liberty and is stated as such in our very constitution.
Fuck anyone who tries to take that away from me.

Give'em a chance. They're no doubt working on a few plans and proposals for that as we type.

I think it's pretty gross for the president to use kids as props when putting out that gun legislation.

The president crying when he heard about the shooting was hypocritical. He is for abortion. Why would a Democrat cry? Children are only masses of cells.
I am surprised Democrats and liberals alike don't applaud Adam Lanza for his attempt at controlling population growth.
We are all only masses of cells taking up too much space and wasting too many resources. Right?

Both sides of the issue are being emotionally exploitative and hyperbolic. Unfortunately this is how humans usually react in a perceived crisis situations.

NEW YORK -- A new shooting game for mobile devices by the National Rifle Association is no longer being labeled suitable for preschoolers. "NRA: Practice Range" changed its age recommendation on Tuesday from 4 years and up to at least 12 years of age with an added warning that the game depicts "intense" and "realistic" violence.
The move came amid pushback from liberal organizations that called the game tasteless and its timing politically motivated. It was released Sunday. This week is the one-month anniversary of the shooting at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school that left 20 children and six adults dead, and the same week President Barack Obama is expected to announce his plan for curbing gun violence.

I had my first gun when I was 7 years old. I've never gone out and shot anyone with one. Teaching kids about guns and how to handle them safely is the right thing to do. When you take away the mystery of guns and teach them that they are serious and not toys, less accidents happen and you foster responsibility and respect instead of fear.
It's a simple concept but the majority of liberals live in fear of everything, they are some of the biggest pussies on the planet.

Damn, I didn't get one until I was 12... >:(
Same story though, I've never killed anyone in a fit of rage. I've never aimed a gun at anyone, I've never known anyone that's been shot or shot at anyone else (except cops).

Whats the plot of the game?
Shooting school kids?
-
How is it ok for the presidents kids to have armed guards at their school but armed guards at public schools where children of private citizens should not?
-
How is it ok for the presidents kids to have armed guards at their school but armed guards at public schools where children of private citizens should not?
Because Obama's brats are special.
-
hahahahahahahah because they're the kids of the pres of the u.sa. if you can't see the difference then there is no hope for you :D :D :D
-
How is it ok for the presidents kids to have armed guards at their school but armed guards at public schools where children of private citizens should not?
Because armed guards at schools would mean more government employes = increased spending.
;)
-
So his kids are more important than other kids?
Do those other kids not face the threat of being shot just like his?
I armed guards are out in plae to stop his kids from being harmed why are you and others opposed to having armed guards protect private citizens kids?
Obviously it works, when was the last time a presidents kids where murdered?
-

So you're not against the idea just worried about the spending then?
Certain things deserve spending whork, we all know you belief that the govt is so efficient that we couldn't cut anything without ppl losing jobs or service suffering but it just isn't true.
We could also start by making schools substations for police departments. There certainly wouldn't be enough to cover all schools but it would be a start.

You could make the same argument about the president being protected by armed guards.

yep his kids would be more of a target then my kids just because he's the pres,i can't believe i even have to explain this
-
You could make the same argument about the president being protected by armed guards.
agreed and I do, if has he ability to protect himself with guns why shouldn't I?
-
why can't you get a concealed weapons permit,do you have a record
-
Lol where did I deny that his kids are bigger targets?
Do you deny that our kids are targets to be killed as well?
If not then why is it good and accepted that obamas kids are guarded by guns but not private citizens?
-
why can't you get a concealed weapons permit,do you have a record
I was making a point, I do have the ability to defend myself with a gun.
Obamas kids have the ability to be protected while at school why should private citizens be different, you agree that normal kids are targets?
-
if has he ability to protect himself with guns why shouldn't I?
you do,right ???
-
hahahahahahahah because they're the kids of the pres of the u.sa. if you can't see the difference then there is no hope for you :D :D :D
I'm silly I guess. I believe the lives of regular kids are just as important as the lives of children of the ruling class. Pro-abortion liberals usually disagree.
Regular children seem to have less reason to be specifically targeted than the child of the President. However, it happens all the time. Mentally unstable kids go to school with guns looking for a student or group of students to get revenge on. In case you didn't notice, it's regular children that are getting shot to hell all the time.
-
agreed and I do, if has he ability to protect himself with guns why shouldn't I?
You have the ability to protect yourself you own several guns.
You can even hire bodyguards.

you guys agree that normal kids are also targets but you seem to want to deny them the same priviledges as the presidents kids...

Important... no...
But i mean you have to understand the reason his kids have guards...
-

I absolutely understand the reason his kids have guards. What I dont understand is why ppl are opposed to private citizens kids having armed guards at their schools?
His kids are bigger targets I understand but dont you agree that normal kids are targets as well?
president obama and democrats sure do, so why should their kids be allowed to have armed guards at schools but not private citizens?
do you not see the hypocrisey there?
-

Irrelevant. The school had armed guards before Obama's kids were enrolled there. NBC's David Gregory has no problem sending his kid there while railing against the same thing for everyone else's kids.
Laughable how you sheeple defend your elitist overlords who would throw you into the killing fields at the earliest moment.

yeah that was needed..

Photo ops with children to push an agenda must sway a lot of American's minds towards more gun control laws. If all it takes is sound bites and pictures of kids with the president to push restrictive new laws, then all I can say that Americans deserve the government that they get.
I don't get mad at Obama, or any other government official anymore. Obviously, this is what my fellow Americans want:
- they want free shit
- handouts
- housing, food, utility bills paid by uncle sam
- free school
- more free shit
Fuck Americans, and according to George Carlin, "fuck the children."

If you put it on the scale of importance, yes, the children of the leader of the most powerful nation in the world are more important than yours or mine. Why? Because their lives can be used as leverage against him, cause him to have clouded judgement and all kinds of other shit we don't need our president dealing with.
It's a tough thought to swallow, because on a personal level I don't feel that way, just viewing it from the big picture.

I can agree with that, but the fact is the kids of private citizens are targets as well.
Everyone agrees from the president to congress, so if their children have armed guards at schools why shouldnt private citizens?

Show me how many assassination attempts there have been on past Presidents' kids

<yawn> nobody is saying the President's kids don't need protection. That's why they have Secret Service assigned to them. Where we disagree is that it's hypocritical of Obama to not want schools to have armed security meanwhile the school he sends his kids to has armed security.
There's no good reason why it's okay for his kids to go to a school with armed guards while our children must attend gun-free schools. As you said, there have been no assassination attempts on past Presidents' kids. That's proof the Secret Service is enough of a deterrent. Meanwhile, our kids are being shot up and killed in gun-free schools b/c <surprise surprise> there is no deterrent to the bad guys.
If you think it's okay to do nothing about our children being murdered in schools by violent sociopaths, then you are hopeless.
-
I can agree with that, but the fact is the kids of private citizens are targets as well.
Everyone agrees from the president to congress, so if their children have armed guards at schools why shouldnt private citizens?
Therein lies the hypocrisy of the entire situation.
