In person, Chic said Bob Paris was huge. 

6 foot 2, 240 pound in contest shape.

i was at the 91 mr olympia, bob did not look like 6'-2". not sure about the 240 pounds either.

Will he be his typical pedantic and supercilious self?

Will he try to educate us stupid illiterates to his far superior point of view? 

Will he take long pauses as he tries to phrase everything in the biggest words he kind find?

This guy is a pretentious wind bag.

He does not "try" to speak tha way. That is simply how he speaks. That is how it comes off when you have read thousands of books.

no he is not, he is just pedantic and takes himself to seriously. Truly smart people dont 'act' smart, they are usually down to earth and very witty.

All due respect, NYCbull...you have used the word 'pedantic' at least twice...are YOU trying to look smart, by any chance?

Paris IS a smart and intelligent man. I don't know why that rubs your rhubarb in such a way.
