Was this the perfect Poster Boy for Pro BB?
« on: February 05, 2016, 06:57:45 AM »
How come the guy got so much hate during his active years? Wouldn't Pro BB be lucky to have a representative like that nowadays?

I know you're a professional troll, but I'll answer anyway.

I never disliked Cutler the person.  How could I - I don't know him.

But his physique was ugly.  Even when he was prime.  Ab/thigh especially.

Affeman is not a professional troll. People can see his trolling a mile away.

he started to lose his shape after 2005. But from 2001-2003ish, he was damn good.

The poster boy was Bob Paris taller, better structure more articulate, handsome and more masculine voice (despite his LGBT orientation) and less boring, he was the perfect poster boy for pro bb  ...

Thing is that After Haney retired Dorian with his blocky strucutre and gut began the "mass monster era", which Jay followed in later years  Nothing to do for poster boy exposure let alone the "perfect"one .

It's fun to hate on the champ I guess

Ronnie was popular but he got heat also for his gut when he was champ

And jay actually took it from Ronnie, not popular

The aestethics made people think he was a boring champ

Imo - Jay was a great champ in every way, much better than Heath

I don't hate him, but he appeared to be a boring/uninspiring, self-obsessed guy who overdid the 'social' media, and yes, I've met him in person after his last 'O win
However, after his competitive era, he became more charismatic & relaxed.

I have to say, Bob Paris's facial mole always kinda disturbed me and would disqualify him in my book for poster boy.  It's been troubling me for about 30 years.

... a representative...

I never quite got what the hell a BB representative or (my favorite) ambassador is. Like what does a BB ambassador do? Go to high schools on career day and tell kids what a great endeavor pro BB is, how one can carve out a great future in it, with a 401K, career advancement, health benefits, union membership, an IRA, and so forth?
