Never used steroids? Poole is full of shit along the lines of Oliva and Schwarzenegger. Most everyone that was anyone in BBing in the 70's was taking something. You don't get into the mags back then with a "natural" physique.

Arnold fully admitted that he has taken steroids. In the 25th Anniversary edition of "Pumping Iron" he talked about it, and he's said it elsewhere in the past.
He may shy away from the issue nowadays, because he has to being Governor. I don't like it, and I'm sure with his personality Arnold doesn't either. He'd rather say "Yes I took them, probably more amounts than anyone for their day. But that was in the past and I still don't see anything wrong with them."
But in the game of politics, you cannot do or say anything like that. Especially in today's world.

Superb Arnold ball-worship and excuses; everything he's said is as a result of HAVING to admit it, there was no choice later but to spin the drug abuse and try to avoid any political damage.

Arnold didn't have to admit he was on steroids all of these quotes are well before he ran for office

He might have admitted but he still down plays the shit out of it. Oh a few dbols and some primo. My ass. The guy was on a lot of shit for his era. Him and Oliva tried to out compete each other in the drugs department and arnold ended up having to take twice as much as Oliva to keep up with his physique. arnold's genetics weren't that great compared to Olivas. He just started on the drugs as a teenager.
