Just like dennis james! Dennis always looked insane 2 days out from a show with a wife beater on and a pear of sweatpants! Dennis would look like Mr.O 2 days out in the wife beater and pants but once day game approached and he had to strip down to the thong he would morph into 5th place. Ramy will probably take 5th wich is great for a first Mr.O but that might be the best he ever doesl Dennis learned his training secrets from Milos who has alot of his bodybuilders all fukced up! many sick,soome in wheelchairs, none of them went to far!

Couple of things. People are comparing him to Dennis James and how he always looked better in pics than on stage. Ramy has been in shape before. Look at some of his past shows and you will see his conditioning is pretty good. Also I can see lots of striations in his delts and that's impressive in such a big guy this far out. If Ramy peaks right things are gonna be interesting.

after calves, chest is raminas weakest bodypart. Proportions right now are one of the beat. Just look at the waist to hip ratio. Small gut even after so much of (ab)use.

He has Flex Wheeler delts. Flex's delts look just like that at the 99 O. When he Flex'd nothing happened in the delt area no separation, just like Ramy....

Here is the thing, Flex should have been 3rd, behind Cormier. And that Flex would beat today's Ramy...
Flex being rewarded for his "look" is what set up is "ok". No matter the bullshit that Flex Mag and the IFBB said about marking down people with obvious Syn/oil injections, they in their hypocrisy reward Flex and continually did so.
Therein lies the problem with IFBB, they are so intent on promoting rivalries, "mass monsters" who are "next big thing", but are incomplete in some way (Dillett, Nasser, Ruhl, Federov, Ramy, Wolf), that they fail to promote consistency, and quality above all else. Their business model is all types of effed up.
Ramy is just another big dude taking over Wolf's place, who took over Ruhl's place. And Ruhl took over from Dillett. You can see the pattern.
Right now, the best guys are the ones in Physique---and these guys will become the new bbers...

Looks great from the front, mass monster with a tight waist, lacking details on his back. Nasser had better calves and Ramy's back is better overall but there are flaws and the bigger he will get, the worse his conditioning will be.

There is a massive difference in comparing him to a returning (and ultimately sub par) Victor at the NY Pro (with no other reputable world class stars) and standing on the O stage with the very best of this generation.
Im not saying he isnt impressive - he's fucking ridiculous! - but nobody knows how his weaknesses are going to look standing next to everyone else - i dare say some will be obvious and others perhaps not so much. I dont think he'll be close to winning, 5 - 8 would be an incredible success.
Hes got all the size in the world but if he cant present it perfectly it counts for nothing. Look at Cedric (remember him anyone?)

Rami's quads lack great development? hahahaha. You might be blind, but the rest of us are not. Rami's quads look to be more heavily developed than Platz's, to be honest. He does lack the deep separation Platz has, but it seems like many of the heavily developed GH-users look the same way. Guys (Branch is a good example) can be super-hard, lean, and water-free but lack deep striations because they have so much dense muscle.

Dorian never had a single striation in his quads. People are being too hard on Ramy. The guy is the first really promising bodybuilder to surface for years. If he was American, everyone would be praising him and he'd be on every fitness magazine's cover.

I'm serious because I said "quads" and not "thighs". Look at the pics; Rami's quads look a little thicker (more heavily developed) than Platz's. Quads only, though -- I agree with some others that Rami's hamstrings are underdeveloped compared to his quads (though he'd probably have to have hamstrings like Prince once did for them to be balanced, lol).
Because Rami's pic is so bright, it's difficult to see depth, but if you go by width, his quads are bigger than Platz's. Compared to Platz, Rami's v.medialis (teardrop) looks to be much bigger. His v. lateralis is bigger, too, making his outside sweep more curved, more pronounced than Tom's. Regarding muscular development (and not conditioning), Rami's quads are more developed than Tom's but Tom's inner "sweep" (is there such a thing?) looks better because of his superior hamstring development which is evident even when viewed from the front.
