Balding - Any hope to stop this process?

21 yo and already balding.

I lost about 2/3 of hair over the past 2-3 years. It still looks ok because I had a lot of hair but I can already see that on top of my head I have like 1/4 of hair compared to sides and back of my head.

Is there any hope how to stop this process? I would be probably OK with it if I was black, but bald white guy doesnt look that good as black fella.

Father is bald, one brother is bald at 25 yo.

all the dudes in my family are bald.   i had the most til 36, then it got ugly.  Cut it short, keep it tight on the sides/back to hide the spot, and enjoy as much as you can on top.   If you lift and have a tan, you'll do fine.   embrace it.

I finally dropped weight and I look OK now. I use clippers to keep my hair in the buzz cut range. White guys who are balding need to have short hair, they should have a low BF%, and they should try to cultivate a tan.

Some people have really good results with topical treatments like 5% minoxidil. Google some of the results and you'll be amazed what its done for those who respond to it. Theres also finasteride which lowers dht levels but it can have negative systemic effects in some.

Either way , if you respond to any of the hair loss treatments you'll need stay on top of it on daily basis for the rest of your life. Does your hair mean that much to you?

Eitherway being fat is just so much worst.  Balding only looks bad if you got a mirror, and horrible genetics.

Being fat looks horrible at virtually every angle, and you feel like complete shit all the time, can't ever find clothes that fits, etc.

Its not only the shape of your head but also your features that will determine if you can pull it off.  You gotta have a more mathematically symmetrical face because without the hair your weaknesses will stand out more......size, proportion and symmetry ...bbing related now lol
