We received many emails about the legitimacy of your photos - many people believe they are altered. Some have questioned whether these images are accurate

I had to bring my BW down to 170, and I got extremely muscular.
Those photos are what i look like.
I'm very happy that people think they are faked, but that is the look that i was able to develop.
Some of them have color adjusted, that's all.

Bump for that request. There was one pic where his bicep morphed into his chest. Very strange. Zane denied it, so we're either all wrong, or one of the Olympia champions lied to Getbig and every listener from Siruis to the Armed Forces Network.
Either way, it's an interesting story.

I'm very happy that people think they are faked, but that is the look that i was able to develop.
Some of them have color adjusted, that's all.
Someone needs to tell Frank we think they've been photoshopped because parts of him look deformed and retarded, not because he looks like the love child of Sergio & Arnold.

Maybe the picture's dimensions were made bigger or the file type was changes and the pics lost some of their quality.
For example saving a .jpg as a gif.

Note that he said his bodyweight is 170lbs. This is a guy that isn't insecure about his body, otherwise he wouldn't admit that. In bodybuilding most consider that small, and he's not really short.

Photoshopped without a doubt. Apart from the muscle looking wrong, follow the lines of where the singlet runs under his right arm... there should be some fabric visible on his left side too.

Also notice how much rounder his shoulders tend to be....with no striations. If he had lowered his bodyweight, his shoulders most likely would not have grown larger than ever, and gotten smoother.
Did he elaborate as to WHY he had to lower his bodyweight? ::)

I'm not going to speak for Mr Zane but I do know that he is on TRT and uses medically prescribed growth hormone. Added to the fact that he trains regularly, its not that hard to believe. Frank Zane is a champion and knows what he has to do to get where he's going

Since my esteem for Zane is based on how he looked 30 years ago - not how he looks today - I'm willing to maintain an uncritical disinterest in this controversy. :-\

I doubt Frank knew they would make such a mockery of his physique and he is probably embarassed to admit it.
@moosejay: I am sure Frank looked pretty good at that time, too bad there are no real photos to show it.

It helps to know a few things about anatomy - his lat wandered around his body so that it now shows up in front of his biceps in a side pose and he has no serratus in that pic - Frank was famous for his serratus !

Hmmm...well like I just said in previous post...hge does know hoe to shop, 240. I am kind of ambivalent on it...I am a big Zane guy, and would hope that he wouldn't. However, maybe he didn't think it'd be a big deal, now its coming back to haunt him.
Either way, he trains seasonally...meaning his training goes through phases, and he does manage to whip himself into great shape every year by the Arnold...so, who knows!

I will dig up the disc he stored my training photos are on, shot of me by him. He did actual photos of me, then morphed them to show how good I could look. For training someone, I thought this was a cool feature. I will post if I can find the energy to look for and find it.
