You want to add weight you need to check it. You guys talk about weighing food why I can weigh myself and adjust my food accordingly. I need a waking weight a rehydrated weight mid day and a before bed weight to understand where the body is going and how to adjust.

Why dont you just look in the fucking mirror once a week

Of course it varies up and down during the day which is why you need all 3 readings to compare to the next day. Sure it doesn't matter if you are just an average person. If you are trying to add muscle through diet and training it does.

The salmon was a leftover.

I needed extra fat so put slices of sharp cheddar on top and nuked it.

Was good.

Oh, microwaved salmon.

Yum.  ;D

Yesterday:

2 butcher box salmon burger, two eggs, 1/2 avocado, charred broccoli, beets

large can tuna, avocado mayo, 1/2 avocado with black garlic and ajika seasoning

weight gain shake with peanut butter - about 500 cal / 50g carb

grilled chicken burger + two sausage links (amylu brand), beets, avocado, strawberries

Activity level was low yesterday, so didn't need to eat much.   Trying to eat 4 meals with a least 40g of animal protein each meal.  Not doing keto or anything, but keeping the carbs low when not training.  Also, I do actually love all the foods above, so this is enjoyable.  I generally have much more elk, steak, etc....just yesterday had nothing defrosted.

you wont gain any measurable muscle in a day you fucktard

Its just water retention
The only time when you know you have gained any real tissue is when you diet down again

Just look at the 212 guys blowing up to 270 for a year and then turning up under 212 again

May as well stay at 225 and get lean gains and make your next prep easier

If you keep adding a pound or two a day eventually it can't be 50lbs of water retention you can absolutely add a couple solid pounds in a week if you have been there before. I am not going back down this time I am solid enough in the am I am not dieting down for shit not anytime soon and never to light heavy again. If I do a show again it will be as a 225lbs heavy

You are lucky to gain 5-10 pounds of actual muscle a year.

But you knew this already.

And are too stubborn to admit you are just yo-yoing with water retention from all the gear and shit food.

Stop being silly hanky.

June 3rd. 2022

Had to make an unexpected trip to Syracuse early in the AM and was there most of the day.....no time to prep any food so my days eating resembled Hankys minus the pukey looking sausage with biscuits and gravy..

I`m so ashamed.  LOL  ;D

Pound or two a day consistently over 6 months would mean adding 182-365 lbs. Couple of solid pounds a week would translate to 52 solid pounds in 6 months. If you're around 220 now as you claim, will you be 270+ lbs and in contest shape by the end of the year?

You can do it for about a week or two then you try to hold on to it for a bit then you try and do it again. The longer you hold the weight the more solid it becomes.

Stop being silly hanky.

You can retain an extra 5-10lbs of water. You can't retain an extra 30-40lbs. I have absolutely seen guys blow up 40lbs in a matter of months.
