He is right about the ham fisted and "day late dollar short" regulations. That stuff just fucks everything up and creates more lawyers and more ways to cheat.
Just punish fraud with jail time. Treat it as a serious crime.

It just shows how full of shit those idiots are that say the Fed has done "a great/wonderful/magnificent job" at "navigating" us through this crisis. Dick Durbin who represents my state of IL said just that a few days ago.
The Fed is part of the problem. It helps, in large part with Congress and other other colluding institutions, to create cheap money bubbles and the boom bust economic cycle. It's hand are all over this current mess, the Dot Com mess and the mortgage meltdown mess. All in a row.
One of there main focuses is on maintaining a healthy financial sector and sound banks. It did none of these. Asleep at the wheel...or awake and fully knowing where it was going. Either way, what a joke.

RP made an OUTSTANDING POINT as to how wars are funded. Most people dont realize how accurate he was in saying that the politicians use the Fed to fund wars as opposed to having the Fed. print money and it showing up later in the form of inflation and/or a devalued dollar.
