Why do u keep touting finishing in "top 13% out of over 10K people." I've run the Marine Corps Marathon a couple of times (20K + finishers), all on no more than 16 weeks of training, and have finished them all in times between 3:35 and 3:55, which puts me in the top 10 percent of finishers but is hardly any type of accomplishment among even 1/2 way serious runners. I would be mocked, and rightfully so, if I puffed out my chest and said "I finished in the top 10% of over 20K people." I don't know what the cutoff is for where you start to be viewed as even remotely competitive in these types of races but I doubt you're anywhere close to it so I'm not sure why you keep bringing this up. One shouldn't boast at all but if you're going to do so at least have something to boast about.Being one of 1,300+ people isn't exclusive enough for you? ;D
