5- If either fighter pulls out of the fight after this agreement has been signed, that person will pay the other party a total of $1,000, due the day of forfeiture of fight. Payments shall increase 10% per day if payment is not made on that day, not to exceed $2,000 total due.

6-Both parties agree to forgo any claims to injury or damage caused from the fight, and will not hold the fighter nor the location, or any parties thereof responsible in any manner in the event of damage or injury. Both parties accept and realize the dangers of fighting and both parties accept these risks as part of the fight.

7- The fight will be held in accordance with California State Athletic Commission MMA-sanctioning rules (http://www.dca.ca.gov/csac/). The fight will not be sanctioned by the state, but a best effort by both parties to adhere to all rules and regulations will be made.

8- The referee and judges shall be agreed upon by both fighters within 2 weeks of the fight. Each fighter can nominate 1 referee and up to 5 judges, with final referee and judges agreed upon by both fighters.

9- There will be no weight limits for either fighter.

Just out of curiousity ,the expense money seems kind of low...
What kind of hotel is $90.00 per night in Venice?? Also $50.00 a day car rental, Hyundai Sonata, I suppose??

I'm sure this will never happen , but very interesting to follow.

Guy, I think it would be best if you have someone with a little more flair for spelling/grammar (and maybe law) look over this and get it locked down tight.

Reason I say is, Vince is not above breaking the agreement based upon a spelling error.

VInce Goodrum has done this very same thing ( pick fights or put up offensive posts ) on MuscleMayhem as well as on meso.

However, he wasn't the fellow who was going to fight Shone Carter over there.

I hadn't realized how common this escalation of internet argument into reality fighting actually was until now.

Since many ppl here were/are members of mayhem as well, you may remember the great NUTEBOY who made a splash with his comments to Fenris about MMA. NUTEBOY may be a good guy but said something ill-advisedly. Fenris then set up the NUTEBOY v. SHONIE CARTER fight, which didn't materialize as well.

Nothing ever seems to come from these things.

Vince seems to have picked up the gauntlet from nuteboy and then ran with it.

Since you asked that no one send your fighting record to Guy, you obviously wanted someone to do a search on you. Rather lame attempt at self-publicity yet it was easy so I did it.

The only thing that came up about a Melvin Goodrum and fighting was when someone named Vince goodrum was in a car accident and the Goodrum fellow was hitting the other passenger who was laying on top of him.

“The first thing I remember after the accident is pushing Jerome to get up. He was unconscious and on top of me and I kept hitting him. I seen people pulling Kevin out and Jerome finally got up.”

and this one
