In 94 he weighed 262lbs and in 95 he weighed 255lbs and I have to check for 96/97 !!
Actually, he weighed 260-even in 1994 (he talked about how he was 'bigger' in Flex), 255 in 1995 and around 260 in 96. In 1997, he was 266 during Pre-judging and after gaining 4 pounds overnight, was 270 during the Finals. Flex magazine's Mr. O report talked about how 'the champ seemed to feel very comfortable comparing his 270 lbs to Nasser's 270 lbs'.
Is it just me or does anyone else also think that Peter McGough's contest reports (and his writing style / humour) were some of the best? When you read his reports, you felt as if you were actually witnessing the show yourself. Contrast that to the third-rate reports of Johnny fitness from Muscle mag(a no-talent, piece of crap whose writing style a third grader would be embarrased to have).
And speaking of report(er)s, anyone know what happened to John Little who used to write for flex? Dude's column was great. All the assholes here who put down Pro-bodybuilding (and pro-bodybuilders) - god knows why they hang around this forum - could learn a thing or two on how to be humourous about bodybuilding without insulting the bodybuilders themselves.
