He's really not remotely what he claims to be. He's even hinting that his likely not so hot aging partner, is the bread winner. dudes hitting a massive mortality wall, spent his whole life deluding himself into thinking he's a god, and now is seconds from the grave.
I think the fall from the bike is his wake up call, dudes getting old real fast.
