Phil gets all of that done using a bowflex! I wonder what would happen if he actually hit some dumbells and did Incline and flat bench presses instead of just hammer strength machines and cables. INSANE GENETICs however daxter jackson is Better when dexter is peak.

He's only relevant in the irrelevant world of bodybuilding. That's true of all of them. There are no more Reeves or Arnolds out there.
True, Dennis is missing calves but Phil is missing width. Not since Larry Scott has an O winner been so narrow. The difference is Larry was a handsome, nice guy and humble in his victories. Phil has a nose that would ruin his aerodynamics if he were capable of flight and is full of himself.
And photoshop should be banned from magazines and the like.

Of course its not kike there is high quality pics showing that the guys of yesteryear got drier, were more conditioned, and grainier than today's 'bloof balls'.
Also not like there were dozens of people who saw these guys in person saying the same thing.
You'll never find industry guys who've seen them both in person say Phil is more conditioned or grainier than Doz.

I would say phil is more conditioned. Look at his arms, glutes etc. Dorian's back was always shredded. But I don't find his quads shredded, nor glutes, nor hams. His dryness was above all, I can seem more detail in phil in other areas.

I will agree that the lighting at that British GP was extremely favourable, but look at 91 O, 96 German GP... 5 years apart, both with strong lighting and Dorian is grainy in both videos (just plucking two at random that I remember lighting).
Dorian was able to attain that level of size and keep the extreme conditioning. Others tried to match size but couldn't keep that level of conditioning. People forgot that you should keep the conditioning as you grow. Today's physiques look so different - just look at their faces on contest day. Bloated with puffy cheeks. Look at Levrone, Ronnie, Dorian back in the 90s - sunken cheeks and death faces. Kai and Phil look like they are storing reserves for winter in their cheeks.
Some of the 212 guys like Dave Henry and Troy Alves still come in hard with death faces but it is almost gone from the open class.

Stop with comparisons to Ronnie. He ain't competing in the Olympia, Phil is the best guy on stage on that day. Unless he comes in off, he ain't losing.

Yes and no. Dorian doesnt have the striations the other giys do genetically, theres not an oz of fat or water on him, he was nust a genetic anomaly when it came to his musculature.
Thats why so many people say he had the 'polished marble' look, like his muscles were so dense and hard that they simply dont have those fissures in the tissue we call striations.
Either way, the detail you speak of is a notoriously bad indicator of conditioning, as coleman had deep striations and shredded glutes when he was 12% and holding a ton of water.

you son of a bitch, marbling means fat in the muscle. perhaps he was a freak that held most of his fat in his musculature hence the appearance. Coleman proves my point, dorian has areas that appear shredded just like coleman but others, biceps for example or quads look far less conditioned.
