I don't know the details of the case to explain this and it is very concerning, what has been written seems overwhelming in favor of charges but I am certain that its not just because Barack is black...more unjustified scapegoat race whining BS.  The gov does not want Barack assassinated....ridiculo us. 

From the few things I have seen written, I don't understand how these pathetic misfits aren't charged either but the local gov, prosecutor & attorney general would know much more than any of us.

nvm i found a link and it does say they are being held on gun and drug charges...the authorities might just be holding off charges until they have all the facts, perhaps they are worried about more ppl out there and are trying to cut a deal with these ppl for info.

the man that made those statements says he wasnt part of a plot, and when asked if he thought they might trying to kill obama he said i dont wanna say yes but he didnt want to say no either.

Also within the past 2 weeks many government buildings had been shot at including the US customs building and a US military building.

very true, there's no way they're accurate at that distance.  but even if they planned on shooting into the place, that's a target rich environment and people would be hit.

They can charge the guy with the meth at the very least and keep him without bond for a week.

They teach 18 year olds to shoot targets at at least 400 yards.  I'd say it's possible with good conditions and a strong rifle.

sure with a .50 cal wtf not, a run of the mill rifle with more than likely a run of the mill scope no way. You would probably need a 2000 dollar scope for that kind of range.

Not necessarily a 50 cal or a great scope.  You could engage a theoretical target at that range with an M14 or Remington.  More than anything you would just need to know how to zero the rifle and hope for little or no wind.  If you can engage targets at 500+ yards with an M4 then you would be fine with the above mentioned rifles.
