That's the whole point they are luxury autos. You want cheap, stick with crappy Americans or entry level acuras or infinitis.

Competed with the BMW M3, one could say that the Black Series cars are like the CSLs or the GTS versions of the M3
the 6 series is a coupe version of the 5 series. The E class coupe is a coupe based on the C Class chassis, so that is the reason why there is no AMG version---redundancy.
The M6 is a 4 place GT---it's on the low end, competes against Jag's XKE---on the high end one could say the Bentley Continental GT, and that's being generous...as the Mercedes CL class competes against that. And BMW has no CL competitor (The CL is the S class coupe, BMW has no coupe version of the 7 series).

I am, I really like the way the carbonfiber roof is a double bubble...like the wheels, the attention to detail. It will go like stink....
The 6 series in general is a slick looking car, interior is almost audi level, if not Audi level.
This car is just sick...would love to see it in black..
Only problem is, the longevity of that S63 engine...the turbos and the cats are in the gulley of the "V"...
The high note is that tuners have already gotten 700+ out of the engine with X6/X5 Ms

I have a 2008 CL63 ;D. I got it certified pre-owned from South Florida. Expensive and a little fickle despite the extended warranty. I have also been a Mercedes guy, but the M6 is sweet. I don't really think you can go wrong with any of the high end cars, but be prepared to drop a pretty penny down front and live with expensive oil changes and service calls. Oh well, guess that is what is needed to have 500 plus HP under your feet. Take care guys.

A few months back, I saw this old dude in a CL65 with the Renntech upgrade...thing sounded like Paul Bunyan was snoring...shit was a beast.

Gangsta, a retired family practice guy at our hospital opened up a Mercedes Benz dealership up here in the PH of Florida. Must have been a piddling operation initially, but amazingly because of the military bases it has grown by leads and bounds. Dude has a CL65 and one of the new SL550 2012 which is sweet. I don't know, I like MB styling but I have been told by friends that BMW's have incredible handling and engines. Need to work a few more years before Obama takes all of my money before I can buy something new ;). Peace guys.

But...but, I LIKE my shitty American cars, plastic fantastic and rattlecraps they may be. All I give a fuck about is going down the 1/4 or 1/8 and making the most amount of obnoxious noise as possible. Any American engine (LSX Gen3,4, Ford 5.0, 5.4, the new Hemi 392, BBC) will beat the piss out of anything that comes out of Europe for a lot cheaper and tons more efficient....just don't expect any style points.
The ride quality is nice in the German thoroughbreds, though, and have nice cup holders and cologne dispensers. I wouldn't mind being a snooty old prick asshole for a day from time to time.

Yeah, but the thing Mercedes Benz makes some damn engines, AMG makes the engines for Pagani, whether they be 600+ Or 700+.
them AmG boys are like German Southern guys, all hail big displacement engines...
And even their TT V8s sound Boss...unlike the TT V8 engines from BMW---
Mercedes has been doing the turbo thing for awhile, this is really BMW's first real foray into TT territory for their M cars...1M was released first, then the M5, now the M6, all turbocharged.
The M3 will probably have tri-turbo set up, one of them will be an electric one.
