looks like a poll commissioned by nbc and WSJ. Isn't WSJ owned by murdoch?

And? WSJ seems to be less biased than most of the other trash out there. They at least entertain the ideas of both sides.

LOL @ you bragging whenever Obama pops up a point or two, even while you never shut the fuck up about the power of the incumbent. Typical dumb c*nt who contradicts himself with nearly every post.

And what? I thought 3333 was alleging bias so I asked a question with what looks like a poll partially funded by WSJ. It's not a crazy question to ask lol...

And then there is this from 3333 favorite site:

Great more polls ::)

I agree... How about we all just fucking vote and see what happens.
Damn.

Couldn't agree more. Unfortuanately, many people complain while too few actually vote.
Just so you know, I only posted the poll because 333386 posted his "wishful thinking" poll. Clearly, neither candidate has a landslide win going on in the polls. So frankly, in my opinion, the election could go either way....polls be damned.

And then there is this from 3333 favorite site:
As I've said before, as soon as Obama gets in the low 40s, some poll out of nowhere (oversampling Dems) is going to put him back or near 50%.

Wow, Romney losing across the board.

You really are a fool. Seriously , for someone w an MBA you are a disgrace. Do you even know who to read internals of polls?
The Monmouth poll amd NBC poll are flawed due to the sampling.

seriously man, this is a message board. A bunch of bored dudes debating dumb shit.
You could post the sky was blue... I'd post the sky is every color except blue, Rayleigh approved, and cite the Bush Dept of Education as the reason you erroneously believe the sky is blue.
On most days, not a single fvk is given... we aren't changing history, we're a bunch of middle aged middle schoolers gossiping about the news really.
-
I just ashamed I once considered you a credible poster informed on things. by now even. You should know how to read internals of polls.

I don't believe this is a poll from nowhere, the RealClearPolitics site is where 333386 gets his polling data....supposedly. Anyway it is the link he provided when he recently posted his polling information. Unfortunately, when I clicked that link the polling information did not support what he posted. Boom!
The fact is the polls change each time they are taken. The spread for the most part is not very wide. These two candidates are pretty much neck to neck in this race at this point. Why do you suppose their campaigns are so harsh?

I like to argue shit. we could go to DU if I wanted nonstop-liberal talking. we could go to FR for nonstop repub support.
We are on getbig because we enjoy the clash of beliefs here, complete with amusing insults and unabashed ability to express oneself.

polls are only as good as TJE sampling and weighting data.

What is TJE sampling?

What is TJE sampling?
You have to look at the % of demos to repubs in these polls and how they weight it to see if they are accurate.
RAS and Gallup are the best. The rest are highly suspect.

One wonders if you would say they are suspect if they showed Romney in the lead.
Not to change the subject, but check this out:

No matter how you look at it, Romney is behind. Maybe not by much....but it doesn't take much of a margin to win, does it?

Michigan's gone back to "toss-up". That is not good news for Team Obama.

Maybe not. What I found interesting is the solid vote spread. Obama really has the lead there.

The only thing that matters is the electoral map and with the numbers in play in the tossup it's an even race we won't know about until the election is over. Unless we magically see states like Ohio and Florida swing solid one way, we won't know until election day and that's not likely to happen before then. This electoral map dictates it will be a tight race to the end because those states can swing it the other way. National polls are kinda pointless considering the present electoral map in play.

Michigan is usually a lock for the Democrats. The fact that it's been (and currently is) a toss-up should be giving Obama fits.

That's a pretty big change in the electoral college map. A complete toss-up.

Are you suggesting that since July 9th the Romney campaign has done anything to gain ground in the swing states? If so, post your proof.
Put up or shut up.
Nate Silver has Obama's likelihood of winning at 70% as of August 22nd. ;)
