this guy did the most for pro bodybuilders... without him and his wbf  foray weider could have kept contest money down and contracts would be non existent. was this and his battles with lurie and hoffman covered in the movie.

Sadly, The numbers are red.  A little over $ 30,000 in weekend release.

The movie Bigger, about Joe Weider and Arnold, opened October 12th in 61 theaters across the US. Last Friday that number was cut down to 5.  To date the movie has only grossed $46,000 at the box office.
Compare that to the space movie First Man which opened the same day and has now grossed $31,000,000.   A $46,000 box office take doesn’t even qualify as pitiful!

My question is, did ANYONE on this board see Bigger, and if so, please inform us what it was like.

Also that weekend, and last, the bodybuilder/trans documentary movie Transformer opened in a handful of theaters in select cities.  It has apparently not even grossed enough to make the box office reports.  Like above, did ANYONE see it?

Disclosure:  neither movie played or is playing here in the Cleveland/northeast Ohio where I currently am located.  Otherwise I would have gone to see them.

Don't worry.  Bohemian Rhapsody has dropped in theatres for those who are thirsty for queer content.  Great music but little interest in seeing men make out on screen.
