Implementing Standards and Constants to your training program
« on: December 06, 2006, 02:15:30 PM »
ive learned some things in the past few days when attaining a goal. ive found you must have constants-things you do everyday to attain the goal or the bare minimum. and you must have standards-you have to put a set of new standards each day on the task, so for my goals they would be physical but the physical is controled by the mental i how much time 'at a comfortable rate with no change' i can work a bodypart to make it grow. and ADAPT to it before i set new HIGHER standards each workout. but a true warrior sometimes when the sun sets, these methods of training may be leaked, it is then the mortals must haste in picking up on the warrior tactics of true legends like myself

example?

60 min of intervals of cardio (sprints for example) would be a constant-something i do everyday as sort of a daily test/warmup. the constant is something you have already attained and know is possible

2 hours of close grip bench can be a new standard you hope to achieve , you dont know if it is possible unless you seek to accomplish the task

you know, if you keep changing your standards and constants, then they are neither standard nor constant.

you know, if you keep changing your standards and constants, then they are neither standard nor constant.

the constants dont change on a weekly basis but the standards change on a daily basis if not dieting

if dieting the constant doesnt change and neither do the standards, to be on the safe side because of lack of nutrition for feul to the muscles
