I was responding to Decker's contention that it has been "40 years since we've had a guy like this."  You then brought up how he was more experienced than Bush and executive experience was "stupid."  Bush's executive experience trumps Obama's two years in the U.S. Senate and part-time state senate experience.  I also like Bush’s experience as managing partner of the Texas Rangers over Obama’s time as a “community organizer.”   I could be wrong, but it sure seems like the Bulk of Obama's U.S. Senate time has been spent running for office.        

There is no reasonable comparison between Obama and McCain on an experience level.  Absurd.  I didn't say executive experience is the only the experience that matters.  I said it's the ideal experience for prez.

Ideal and conclusive are not synonymous.  I would expect some folks on the board to try and say that, but not you.  Jimmy Carter was a lousy president and he was a governor, so obviously executive experience will not conclusively establish that a person will be a successful president.  I've never said that.
