Very nice physique and muscular balance, but his skeletal structure does have flaws.

His major structural flaw is that his clavicle is somewhat small, for his height. His balance is superb, though.

That is Anders Graneheim from sweden.
They screwed him at the masters O, gave him low placings.
I think Granis did have an incredible physique.
Its a shame that nobody even remember him.
I remember Lena Johansen also said that Graneheim had the best looking body ever.

I agree with picking Shawn out as having perfect symmetry but the other two?.....er, no
Perfect symmetry is having everything in proportion, good balance....Kevin didnt have that, his physique was dominated by his triceps and shoulders.....when you've got bodyparts as dominant as that it throws of his symmetry, it was a pleasing physique but it had strong parts (shoulders and tris) and weak parts (back and later in his career legs) and so i find it hard to label him as 'perfect'....
....the same to a certain extent with Flex, early in his career (1993) it was all there, balance, proportion, no weakness but later in his career he fell into the trap of becoming a shoulders and arms bodybuilder....his later years he just looked daft.....his oil filled arms and shoulders dwarfed his back and chest (muscles which should be the largest on the upper body were looking small next to his puffed up arms and delts)..... he also became known for his arms....
...the mark of a truly symmetrical bodybuilder is that no single bodypart dominates, there is balance between upper and lower body, your eyes arent drawn to a particular muscle because they're all equally developed.... Kevin in 1992 and Flex in 1993 had this but then lost it.
The guy in the photo on this thread has superb symmetry, no single bodypart takes attention from any of the others, there is good balance between legs and upper body.....that is great symmetry, Shawn had it and Milos had it too.

I agree with picking Shawn out as having perfect symmetry but the other two?.....er, no....
No bodybuilder has or had perfect symmetry or, more relevant, proprotions.
Shawn was definitely one of the most complete competitors ever, but even he had his weaker areas, relatively speaking. His Shoulders were a little too narrow, his quads, at times, overpowered his other body parts, and his calves were not that impressive either.
That's not meant to put Ray's physique down at all because he was one of the best ever, but like everyone else, he was not "perfect".

Needs more size. The Bob Paris and Frank Zane physiques are "pretty", but boring to look at.....bring on the freaks.

Completely/conveniently neglects the fact that the physique's in the top 5% re: symmetry, overall quality & shape over the last few decades. Obsessing on small imperfections that everyone has is fairly mindless, even trite, in that context. Probably jealous. His physique is superior to that of almost anyone reading this.

Why is that when criticisms are made about a particular competitor perspective can't be maintained. "Oh, he looks small does he....how do you look...duuuuuuuuuuuh!!" F'kn stupid! When we make comparisons we hope our posting audience is astute enough to assume our opinions are based upon a competitve bb level.....not an average gym rat level. If the dude looks pretty but small, then so be it.....I think he needs more size. Do I have his level of conditioning...of course not...that's understood. Am I larger than he is? Yes, does that mean because I don't sport the same bf% that only he's lean and I'm fat and all my personal gains are negated....of course not mental giants. I prefer size and some of you ladies prefer aesthetics and "pretty boy" physiques....whatever LOL....I don't get it, but more power to you.
