Autopsy reports are 100% public record so I don't know what the problem is in finding out the truth

Unless the family pays for it, then it's up to them.

When John Belushi died from an injection the coroner determined it wasn't one massive dose but repeated administrations of toxic drugs that caused his system to shut down. I would posit that was the type of overdose he died from rather than massive ingestion of one drug in one sitting. Plus the obvious hypertension and other things he never talked about.

What drugs caused John Belushi's death?

Someone said John Candy overdosed to, but as I understand it - no autopsy was performed in Mexico where he died.  Also, I think my friends are confusing him for John Belushi.

No brah, he's still alive. Just doing feeder sets in the morgue.

Thanks for the update.  I'd heard through the underground grapevine that like so many other entertainment greats (e.g., Marilyn Monroe, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Florence Henderson and Gary Coleman) he'd faked his own death to escape the oppression of celebrity.

How long before O'Hearn joins them in some secluded French hideaway?

It's not so much the amount of drugs...

1 line can kill you if the 'perfect storm' is happening within...

BP off the scale, liver screaming, irregular heart beat, dehydrated, etc.

Any of these factors mixed with the internal biological effects of illegal drugs could have contributed.

I had a friend who was a HUGE abuser of coke...the man was a vaccum!  He woke one morning and had his usual 'C and C' as he called it - coffee and coke.  He was found on his kitchen floor later that day.  His first line of the day killed him.

Wow!  How old was your friend?

This is sort of why longer term opioid use bodes better than long term cocaine use.  Coke gets your heart racing, whereas opioids do not have that effect.  There is a reason why people are prescribed opioids for decades.  That said, it sounds like a massive rationalization for opioid use, lol.  I guess ultimately what I mean is - be responsible, exercise moderation.  Do not overdose anything.  Rich had a tendency to take everything to the max.

seems heart attack, lack of oxygen to brain for 30 plus minutes, then switch off life support a few weeks later.

Opiates decrease blood pressure. My avg bp for the first couple weeks post-surgery was like 95/42, whereas its usually about 144/88

What difference did that make?

Thank you.  I always wondered about that.  I think he was 6'3.5" and 375-lb too.

Yep, that's what did it. Tom Arnold once told Chris Farley he could choose to be fat or a drug addict, but not both.

Someone in the industry said there's shocking new
info coming on the cause of death, and a number of people know but so far no one has gone public.

It's also possible that pmma could have caused it. Research has shown it can travel and collect in the heart itself.

yes,,Patrick Swayze was interesting,,i thought he got pancreatic cancer and that's it,,i was cool with that,,but he smoked, and was in pain for sometime or symptoms he ignored ..he broke many bones in his body and he said that could weaken your system in future,,strange..

Didn't see the show, but pancreatic cancer symptoms don't usually surface until the latter stages. By the time one feels discomfort ("burning" stomach for Swayze), it's likely spread. Most don't survive long after diagnosis.

My buddy lasted eight months.

If pancreatic cancer is anything like pancreatitis it's like a dull ache that burns through from the front burden4 your stomach all about your spine and there's no way to ignore it.
