15 years ago if you told me I'd end up taking sides with Trump over Arnold I would have told you that you were crazy.

Thank God I grew up.

I certainly don't hate Arnold, just sad the way he turned into a weepy old man.  I watched Terminator Genisys where he was playing an older broken down Terminator and thought about what a waste his last few years have been.

I just watched trailer for this film. IMO, it just another worn-out serial franchise that should be laid to rest. It appears Arnold isn't playing the lead and yet his part is central to the plot. However, geezers playing roles better suited to younger folks is a bit sad. Arnold has great humor and a knack for comedy, which has no age boundaries. Perhaps he would do better to stick with this gendre.

Note: A lot of people saw the film. It made $440.6 million worldwide. Of the Terminator franchise, only Terminator 2: Judgment Day earned more.

Here's what Rotten Tomatoes view of the movie.

Critics Consensus: Mired in its muddled mythology, Terminator: Genisys is a lurching retread that lacks the thematic depth, conceptual intelligence, or visual thrills that launched this once-mighty franchise.

Not a bad flick and Sarah Connor was the actress from Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke but as a brunette.

He could have died after True Lies.  Everything after has been shit.

I know what you mean, but some of it was enjoyable sh1t.  At least for my simplistic tastes...

For example, (re)watched 'Jingle All The Way" last night - yes it's sh1t, but did we enjoy it?  Yep
Same for 'Batman and Robin' (can't believe I'm admitting this)
End of Days / 6th Day - kind of enjoyed both

I am also officially the only person in the world to have really enjoyed T3 - I felt it stayed true to the franchise and stayed in-canon.  (But who cares what I think, right?)

Arnold Schwarzenegger in Poland: Trump ‘Meshugge’ for Exiting Paris Climate Change Accord

https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2018/12/03/arnold-schwarzenegger-in-poland-trump-meshugge-for-exiting-paris-climate-change-accord/

I find it particularly ironic that an Austrian goes to Poland and is against using gas...

Arnold just wrote a laughably pathetic article for CNN:

The guy is a goddamn joke.  He should just retire and live quietly.

He can't stay out of the spotlight because he desperately wants to still be relevant.

Anyone who lives in the spotlight their entire adult life, will find it hard to imagine living any other way. There is nothing wrong with maintaining relevance as long as you are true to yourself.

I guess but it looks pathetic for actors or especially rock stars who keep trying to hang on to relevance until death.  A person who constantly needs approval has mental issues.
