i get to train in off-peak hours, but it seems like every day this week, the bench press station are all packed, everyone is doing the monster 135 with a spotter, and they all have dirty looks on their face like someone pissed in their cheerios.

Or the guys that ask you if they can "work in", only to take nearly all the weights off the bar and put single 25's on.

Ahahaha, here's one, the guys that do "SUPERSETS" with every peice of damn equipment in the gym. When they see you moving over to one that's in their "REGIMEN" they run over and start to use it before you get there.

What a joke.

Il be doing back, shoulders and traps today so i think i should have my choice of equipment, tho occasionally someone gets lost and starts using the lat pulldonw machine, so i might have to fight my way through lol.

Its funny wen i set up a barbell in the corner to do t-bars, and no1 has a clue what im up to.

il also get my fair share wen starting today with deadlifts lol.

Monday's are evil as it is. Post New Years is insane.

Do squats tomorrow. No one will be doing those.

Too bad all the squat racks are taken up by :

1) Retards doing curls with the olympic bar and no weights
2) Moronic personal trainers and their lackey's on those stupid bosu balls
3) Some 40 year old former football player who hasn't touched weights in years, deciding to return to the good old days of cleans.

why do you devote so much time to doing abs? with enough squat/deads/legs and a low enough bodyfat I am sure that abs is even necessary

Here comes the money shot

I work out at 6am, maybe a 10% increase in people but usually only the regular die hards are in at that time

Monday is virtually always chest day for everyone, at my gym it s the same, I just change my split.

There is a gang of nerds (three nerds) who do bench 2-3 times a week at my gym, I call them bench press school, as they stand around posturing and looking rugged (well trying to), and there is always a look of anguish when you ask how many sets they have left cause always about 35 each.

But how can I be angry when one of them struggles to bench 50lbs!!!!! It is comedy at its finest!!

Best time to go in is when there's no one around. I loved going in at 1pm with sometimes just myself in the entire weights room. But after a full work day, you don't get that luxury.

Yeh due to classes i can normally get in about 4, and its not to bad, but think il be later tonight, and im expecting it to be busy, but the free weight section is never too bad. Apart from pulldowns im gonna be in free weights bit all workout so its not too bad.

Your MAAaaaaaa, i to have sum kids who train like the ones in ur gym, theres about 5 who all bench together and do 5x5 each i think, with breaks between one finishing benching and the next starting, so their there for ages.
Its good to see young guys (im only 22 but im talking like an old timer lol) getting into weights, but 5 guys all doing 5 sets each, they take up the bench for ages.

Luckily i do chest/arms on a friday so it hopefully wont effect me tonight.
