Q for ONLYME -- Neck training, Barbarians
« on: January 03, 2009, 11:26:31 AM »
I'm a big fan of the Barbarian Brothers. As most people know they were big on training their necks.

But just how prominent were their necks?

I am considering buying a neck harness...will that suffice for neck training?

Thanks bro.

After Keith measured their necks, the Barbarian Brothers, Nolan Ryan, Larry Hagman, and Pat Benetar hopped in Onlyme's 1982 T-bird for a quick lunch at the 4 seasons before a Charity dinner at Madonna's house.

Also, OnlyME, what about the strength/capacity of the neck harness?

Will something like this suffice? http://www.sportsnutritioncentre.co.uk/neck-harness-p-65.html
...looks very light-weight to me....

Did you know he once sat next to Jonesey from Police Acadamy at a charity event??  It's rumored he was also once in the same zip code at the same time as Sylvester Stallone!

I do neck training as well.  I think bbers' body's look goofy attached to untrained necks.

A thicker neck makes you look better, gives you more of a squared jaw look

Lay on your back and roll backwards on your head, wrestling neck exercises works best.

Damn straight, show some respect people!

Onlyme once lent a Gillette blade to Liz Taylor when they attended an SPCA fundraiser.

I trained neck with Peter and David many times. The thing I remember is REPS. Lots & lots of reps. Drop sets, super sets, etc. Train heavy but finish off with drop sets and pump sets. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

TommyW, can you say something about HOW to train neck?

Will using a harness alone give me the results?
