Just because you shit doesn't mean you are cleaning out your bowels.  Add fiber supplement and/or fibrous green vegetables.  If you don't, you will be added to deadpool 2021.

Never heard of Benecol Spread before. What's it taste like? What kind of drinks did you have? I've been on Simvastatin since my late 30's. i'd like to get off it even though it successfully lowers my cholesterol and triglycerides.

Benecol is a brand over here in teh UK, not sure what its called elsewhere, they also do cholesterol reducing yoghurt drinks, although Im not sure why they cant take the active ingredients in the spread and make a tablet.
Its tastes like butter, Margarine.

I got a script for avastatin , not long after taking it I got shoulder and neck pain, I stopped and it went away, a few months later my doctor asked why I hadnt renewed my script, I told her why and she said "oh, forget it then it doesnt matter", begs the question why she gave it me in the first place.

The levels are set and if you exeed the levels the doc automatically gives you a script, I did some research and found out that the studies that decide the levels are funded by teh pharma companies, so it is good business to have the cut of low.

I'm a big lover of Greek yogurt. It is my mainstay breakfast food. If Benecol tastes like butter fine. If it tastes anything like margarine, forget it. My biggest downfall is cheese. It can be Sharp Cheddar, Provolone, Munster, Gouda, Camembert, Brie, Feta, Roquefort, Swiss and others. It makes no difference. They are all delicious to me.

I'd have a hard time with your current diet since I generally don't like fatty meats unless the fat is cooked crisp. I cut the excess fat off steak.

Last night my son-in-law made spaghetti with sausage. The Italian sausage was from Beyond Meat, a non-meat brand that's showing up everywhere. It tasted better than real pork Italian sausage. https://www.beyondmeat.com/products/

you need the fats on this diet, it should form 70% of total cals, Im probably at 50% at the moment as I still have a small amout of carbs in the cottage cheese. milk and yoghurt..

I admire your dedication. Extreme diets are great for other people who benefit from them. I've always sought a balanced and sensible diet. So, there is little chance I would ever follow the diet you are currently doing. But then, I am not interested in becoming a competition bodybuilder. I am happy being relatively fit and darn healthy as compared to a lot of people. According to my doctor, I'm successful at maintaining nearly excellent health.

A weird thing that happens to me is that I tend to lose weight when I don't workout for awhile. Once I go back, my weight gradually increases despite my not changing my diet, including the quantity of food I eat.

Glycogen retention is probably a factor. I know I drink a lot more fluids when I'm working out than when I'm not.

Im pretty sure I know the answer as to why all the competitors these days weigh so heavy, its large amounts of carbs and insulin.

This diet I am on doesnt really allow any water retention, its going straight through me, Im getting leaner and tightening up without even trying

I havent counted a single calorie or looked at what macros Im eating, its probably about 40/50% protein and 40/50% fat and 10% carbs

as Im not a big eater not sure how this is going to allow me to add more size and get ready for Septembers shows.
Im getting in shape and my muscles are responding again after the lay off

Its like gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time, (who would have thought it)
